That looks lilac to me: not quite purple but not quite pink either.
Lady Haman fan art that actually got the tone more or less right as depicted in CCA rather then ZZ's...overly bright mixture that can be confused as...that color.

The not quite one, not quite the other was the middle ground I was aiming for when I suggested fuchsia.
Lilac is my second favorite color, though, and I don't think that's quite a soft enough pastel to qualify.

I think her hair is pretty personally...and definitely not pink.
To bring this back on topic, sort of, I would love them to fix the lighting in the CC so that we can tell what our poor PC will actually look like once they leave whatever closet they're being designed in. This "is it pink or is it purple" discussion points up the entire reason for that repeated request! If we have customizable armor and/or environments they need to address that problem whenever we access the tinting. Master Warder would flip if his new purple armor turned out to be pink, after all.
They claimed that the lighting in the DAI cc would be pretty neutral. I think they need to readjust what they consider "neutral."
It was still a lot better than the DA2 cc. I lost track of how many times I had to restart that game.

I just used presets in DA2 >.>

Why, in your case?

I ran into the good ol' makeup mistake where the makeup was way too strong and a different color than I thought it was though I would have had to remake my character regardless because her eyelashes were a greenish blue that not only did not match her red hair but also clashed with the makeup.

Just another reason for me to always turn all that stuff off. I admit though that I like to use the mirror in the Black Emporium to add some things so the Inquisitor is a bit more gussied up for that stupid masquerade.
The great pink debacle of 2015, when we learned Warder detests a color so much he doesn't even like using it's name.
._.
Where did you glean that? I have no...dislike of pink hair on its own merits.
Just I dislike the improper labeling of Haman for example a pink haired character I like-Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki or 'Future Diary'
Doesn't have lady Haman's elegance or leadership, nor her psychic abilities or massive body count but...she makes up for this by being that perfect mixture of Yandere and psychopath. Truly that whinny kid was luck to have her, I mean I could post gifs, memes, and what have you for days about Yuno given her anime reboot of the manga is fairly recent only coming out a few years ago unlike Haman who dates nearly three decades back in 86...and has been dead since before I was ten years old.
Really one of my favorite all time female characters in either incarnation presented.

Honestly, what is with the makeup in any of the DA games? I always go for neutral shades with a little soft pink, and I always end up with something clownish on the first few attempts. In DAO, I ended up memorizing the right moment to get a good assessment of how the character had turned out in most of the different origins. WIth the human noble, it was the moment you talk one on one with Eleanor Cousland on the stairway. With the city elf, it was when Vaughn approaches you in the alienage.
And those eyelash colors in Inquisition. We have 50 different eyelash colors, and about 12 hairstyles.
Come on, Bioware.
the problem with melee is that no one can do it correctly. I mean spectial fighters so far the closed to doing it "correctly" at least for the feel and fluidity of combat.
How would you do it so you can have blocks evades and stuff in 3d. Thats the problem.
So far only 2d have been able to do it decently. but even there there seems to be no solid 'hit' when it comes to a full on block.
I'm not for saying they shouldn't even try, but i think they should try it, but if it doesn't feel good then forget about it.
ME3 melee was decent enough, didn't use it all that much but i think it was good enough.

My issue in Dragon Age: Origins was with the skin tone. I lost count of how many times I had to remake a character because they wound up with a skin tone that was way lighter than what was intended.
Thankfully, I did not have that issue with Dragon Age: Inquisition and I did feel like they were trying to improve on the character creator. Hopefully, we'll see more improvements such as in the lighting by the next game.
Maybe we'll even have the Black Mirror included in the game itself if it finds it way to Tevinter perhaps by as a stolen antique. I really did appreciate that they took the time to work on that request and released it free in a patch. It was great to have in Dragon Age II, it was great to have in Dragon Age: Inquisition and it would have been great to have in Dragon Age: Origins.
Everyone! Group hug in memory of Warder and his sanity

Ignore the fascist undertones and focus on the cute little robot.
