I'd just like to throw out that we don't need six different desert areas, one is more than enough
I don't want to see Tatooine five different ways, mix up your biomes!
If ME:A looks even half as good as Rise of the Tomb Raider does on PC (note these aren't even max settings, mainly because it makes my gfx card weep - oh well, an excuse for a new one!) then I will be more than happy.

Also: that hair! Seriously Bioware, THAT HAIR!!!!
I'm so sorry, Khrystyn. I've made a poor showing of helping you. You've almost got it.
So when I said, "without the spaces," I meant that you set up the coding like this:
[ img]img://blahblahblah[/ img]
But I placed spaces in the coding so that you could see it. Remove all of those spaces, and you should have the coding you need.
For the one above, it just needs the second part of the coding to work.
Code tags let you show whatever code you put between them.

Though they tend to give it interesting colors.

Good looking game. I will get it when it becomes available on the ps4
I'm sure ME:A will look good as well. With the hair, time will tell
... once i asked them about there aesthetics on twitter an the reply i got was "aesthetics is not very high on our list" so yeah i do not expect any improvement any time soon from them.
The BioWare response might have been in context to, seemingly correctly, the idea that aesthetics is hairdos.
I think maybe, "Seriously Bioware, that hair," should be the official motto of this thread.
Because they seriously should get better at hair.
Thankfully, hairdos is not what Mass Effect is about. Maybe the sims might be more your game.

Hardly. This thread discusses a wide range of other aesthetics as well. Such as on the previous page, where we talked about architecture.

I think not. The sims seems very boring to me, and my willingness to discuss one particular aspect of these games does not indicate a disinterest in all the others.

Why didn't you include me in that comment, given I was the one who made it? Are you going to tell me that I should be playing the Sims too?

I was the one who turned it into a criticism of Bioware. Lonely Books/wyrdx tends to disapprove of that.

I don't really care what Mass Effect is about, I want it to have better hair, and cooler spaceships, and jetpacks.

if ME is about writers getting high to their own work and tossing out things like "logic" and "basis in the storyline" and "rule of cool" then maybe a change in priorities is in order
Jetpacks are an excellent starting point

Yeah. I've been playing it on the Xbox One and it is absolutely gorgeous.
This pic will be reposted soon.
This NASA image of earth shows the city lights across several nations. Wouldn't this be a fantastic view to see 'in-game.'
Well, we do see something like this in the N7 Day trailer.
Yeah. I've been playing it on the Xbox One and it is absolutely gorgeous.
whoops, wrong thread. Sorry love. He's my elf quisitor. Damn mobile.I think I missed something...Who's Iolan?
It's the glare that just doesn't look good to me, and 'haze' seems to be the 'go to' image element among game graphics devs. these days. I think it's being over done.

They really did a great job with Lara and the graphics in ROTTR. Like the facial animations and the dirt and grime covering her.

We can only hope Andromeda improves in that department. ![]()
Bloody hell there are some right weirdos on here.
The last aesthetics thread garnered accusations of frivolity, too. I eventually let it slide off the radar. I don't want to do that again. I love seeing the pictures people contribute here.

Yes. I have turned it up to the MOAR setting, and it is stunning.

It is a pretty game, one of the nicest looking games I've played on Xbox. It makes me excited to see what Andromeda will look like.
It's the hairspray or something.
What are your preferences for the interior of the ship?
I'm probably in the minority, but I preferred the darker, grittier, and more-lived in atmosphere of the ME3 Normandy to the more brightly lit and sterile version of the ship in Mass Effect 2.
