I'd love to find something like the 2nd image while just out exploring, really pretty.
A swamp jungle planet with alien ruins would be pretty awesome.

The Exalted plains in DA:I is probably one of my least favorite areas in the game, but I loved that swampy area with the Dragon in it. Also the swamp from Jaws of Hakkon was eerily beautiful too.A swamp jungle planet with alien ruins would be pretty awesome.
Break for scenery:
Hadn't seen it! looks amazing!

The second image is cool but nothing beats that cyberpunk vibe that i get from the first one jajaja
I'd love to have the Mako land on one of the polar regions of an alien world, and have an aurora be visible in the night sky.
It would be doubly cool if planets were visible from the protagonist's ship before you landed.

Cyberpunk is cool but I'm a sucker for nature and old ruins located in nature. ![]()
Speaking of nature I'd love to find a city like this on one of the planets in Andromeda. Maybe have a side quest where we have to explore it and find something.

If you had a robot companion in the game, what would you want it to look like?

I'd love a sapient drone, similar to Glyph, but going the full A.I. route.
I think it might be interesting also to have a character who is a cyborg. Technically Shepard was one, but that part of his/her nature was glossed over and never played a role in either story or gameplay. It might be interesting to have a character who has gone through so much cybernetic tinkering that their brain is also partially synthetic and their identity is no longer human.

Here's a view of lightening on earth seen from the ISS, in time lapse video. Beautiful.
Thinking this would be a great visual to see when approaching a planet, instead of the plain 2-D graphics. How hard could this be to include in Andromeda?
I think that is how Shep should have appeared in ME2, making it clear they are cybernetic - and each upgrade maybe making it more prominent. It all kind of got forgotten in ME3.
Anyhooo, still loving the environmental detail in RoTR. I hope we get this level of detail in ME:A.

If you had a robot companion in the game, what would you want it to look like?
Or more realistically a small flying thing like a modern quadcopter (just sci-fiy) or that dragonfly drone Trip had in Enslaved.

I'd like to see something that has the mind of a VI, ie not fully intelligent in a cybernetic body
and no "becoming aware" nonsense

Very pretty, *sigh* seeing all of these makes me even more excited to see all of the planets we'll visit.
Tough one, but...
It's just too precious.

(^that's a thumbs up, btw)
Seriously, BB-8 is just way too cute for words.
My only question: Does it come in blue? ![]()
I would want it in blue. Or purple.

That would be fantastic. Do you think you'd prefer it if they went through that kind of transformation willingly, or if they were somehow coerced/forced into it?

If they handle backstories like they did in DAI, they could allow both to be an option.

I think Han was talking about a companion character, though, rather than one where we as the player have a say in their motivation.
It's just funny, because I was indulging a similar character concept. A biotic character so obsessed with maximizing their abilities that they subjected themselves to so many cybernetic enhancements they no longer behave particularly like an organic.

Lol. Lady Artiface, your comment got me chuckling. Your description of an obsessed character making multiple enhancements, to their own detriment, reminds me of celebrities who are so obsessed with maximizing their looks that they subject themselves to too many plastic surgery (cybernetic) enhancements, and they no longer behave particularly like an organic. I.e. Movie: Death Becomes Her (1992).
But seriously, the 'obsessed character', even a robot, might serve well as a foil - someone or something that serves as a contrast to another - offering catharsis, story progression, humor, or tragedy - if it is written well, of course. I'm trying to think of a good robot example, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment. Robin Williams in Robots, and as the genie in the Alladin movie series, was superb as a companion character, but such a comedic persona would make more sense as an alien, not a human or robot or Jar Jar Binks!, imo. I love Cortana and how her character was so well written as a companion. A companion character can aid to the development of story aesthetic and would be nice to see in ME:A. In some ways, I kind of view Joker as a companion character to Shepard with his comic relief. Liara in ME-2 and LotSB was obsessed with destroying the Shadow Broker, and yet her obsession meant that her romantic feelings for Shepard (if a L.I.) were non-existent - which is what I didn't like about that story arc. If a robot can be written to be interesting, then I'm all for it; I just can't imagine it working well as a story element in ME:A, however.
Installed the GTX970, and turned everything up to MOAR:
