Well there is no accounting for tastes in fictional women I suppose...I prefer those more along my own I guess, which are fairly distinct.

There isn't enough red, that's what pink is. Pale red, purple is the appropriate mixture of colors.

Also the artists often give her a 'brighter' look given its actual given color is fairly sleek and bland.

It would be cool if at least one of the habitable uncharted worlds you could visit in Andromeda had a completely alien appearance. Instead of familiar green vegetation for example, maybe the plant life is instead yellow, or red, or black, or some other color.

As someone who frequently dyes the hair "crazy" colors, and as someone who had that exact hair color for a while (the dye name was flamingo) I'll keep insisting that it's pink. I had it purple and lavender too. If it's pink it's pink xD

It's beautiful and captivating..i would really like some gameplay in settings like this one or the ones you describe

I just love that image so much.

 

That would be extremely cool. I'm hoping for unworldly, bizarre, often beautiful and and sometimes so strange that it's almost grotesque.

 

They need to start with something we do know, so they should continue to look to the deep sea and the less industrialized parts of the world for inspiration. That picture reminds me of both a kind of  mushroom-like tree from Africa and jellyfish. 

 

Speaking of which, some bioluminescence on one of the planets would be awesome.

 

I've also been thinking, what if they could design a planet that just seemed inherently disorienting for us? When Kubrick worked on The Shining, he designed the overlook hotel to have all of these nonsensical design flaws so that there was always the sense that something was off about the layout. Doors and windows in strange places, stairways that lead nowhere.

 

Of course he was playing with building design, so that might not be remotely comparable to designing an alien planet that has to also serve as a navigable game level, but the idea still intrigues me.

At first, it looks like rose red from here..but it's too dark and i'm not that sure. Then, it becomes the pink from before but let's wait for the expert!
I also don't like how she stares at me at 0:39...it's like she knows all my secrets!

I'm not the expert, but yes.  It does look pink (or red, against the background when it's dark at the beginning).  I'll grant you the first two seconds, which could be argued, but otherwise it's as pink as the mechs, to me.
