...I'm having doubts now? Is sassier right ? I thought necro would be if you tried to bump an old thread from way back when, by continuing a discussion in it 6 months later... (clearly an undead thingy)

 

On the other side - Referring people back to the legacy is a cultural heritage of this community (ie like Dragonracer sticky does). Linking should actually be actively promoted for those topics that have been thoroughly covered before and are still accurate. (I've never seen any thread blocked that just because it linked another thread, ever...or?)

 

It would've been splendid to have the moderators' viewpoint on this.

 

Of course a meme thread can quickly devolve into spamming thousands of pictures without anything worthwhile as contribution to the BSN cultural legacy. So I can understand some moderator animosity to keep the forum "clean"... it's a image + brand thing worth paying somebody fulltime, afterall.
