Both of these characters should only be playable in nightmare/heartbreaker as they are far too powerful in perilous. But it's more so the Silent Sister. These 2 characters basically wreck the game in a party.

 

The issue is that the damage output from both characters is so high, all anyone does with either of these characters is one man the entire zone, and rendering the concept of a party based game useless because the rest of the players in the match are sitting there doing nothing.

 

I'm not the only one that feels this way either.

With all due respect, if there are going to be restrictions to newly registered users, then that's the fault of whomever put those restrictions in place. Don't go blaming the new user for something they have no control over.

I wasn't blaming you, since you're a new user I thought you might not know about that subsection. Didn't know about the restrictions.

I'm not going to follow that stupid restriction about waiting because a forum is for discussing things so when I have questions, I'm going to post them. And if that means I have to post them in a different section of the forum to get an answer, then I'm going to.

I don't need to explain how idiotic it is for people to set up a forum, then place completely unreasonable posting restrictions on new users, and then ban that user for (So called) not following a completely idiotic rule hat is there to basically cause trouble with people.

Isabella is just fine. Enjoy the free rides in Perilous. NM isn't so guaranteed and that's where the best rewards are kept.

Character balancing is pretty much crap now, even more so than at launch. Just play the game and solo heartbreaker on your own, as the devs intended!

I can see why SS is OP with her unlimited damage output (averaging 10k per hit for me) and ultimate survivability.

 

But I didn't know Duelist is quite so broken? Unless you are referring to some sort of glitch with swashbuckle or whatever. 20k per hit non stop at  30 willpower would be more OP than SS because you don't even have to build up your damage every time.

Silent sister I agree because she is still far too durable for the amount of dmg she is able to put out. Even if she had guard removed on hit from attacks, she would still be one of the top classes due to the ridiculous synergy of her abilities. She is basically a shoe in for undergeared/underpromoted players to bring in to nightmare pugs.

During the addition of adding new classes to damp, somehow the concepts of balance, and team play were disregarded with the silent sister.

In regards to the new accessory gear that was added in previous patch the pact belts seem more like death for all mages except for the great AW. Having a storm (strongest and least resistant enemy element) pact belt for a class that is dependent on generating barrier from their offense means 2X dmg with a negligible drop in health since fade shield has always been AW's life bar, otherwise we would be seeing more Aw's soloing nm at lvl 1. All mage classes have to suffer the drawbacks of massive health reduction yet the AW does not.

The characters are only as good as the players playing them.  Like the guy on his SS lastnight on FC NM, yeah run up the that damn middle.  Nevermind you were laying down for the last 3 zones.  Sure you can handle it.....

I agree about the duelist even in NM or HB but the SS??? Nah, Sarrabass is the killer in this game and will not die if built correctly...

SS is just good if you have high promotes and savage thorn...

While I use ss a lot in NM because of her survivability and dps, I start to find her boring too. After getting Flow of battle it's just charge, then throwing blades, then charge, throwing blades... repeat in a cycle.
And I don't think Isabella is so invincible either. Her dps is great but in NM if her elusive is messed up(eg. bolters) she's still easy to die.

Man, she is a beast with the Bolt ring and renewal amulet....

She is challenging to play with properly but better in NM... imho

I seem to find Izzy so good in perilous that it's not fun but absolutely useless in NM. Haven't played her in a while though.

You can literally just bolt with duelist in perilous, in nm silent sister trumps her because of the superior combination durability and dps with minimal cool downs.

I find ZITHER! to be the best tank against Bolters.  He can buff everyone into face-tanking anti-Bolter gods!
