I'm just wondering if people care about clothing. I heard a lot of complain about the lack of clothes for femShep and how they're mostly designed for maleShep and very masculine looking. The clothing options are not as varied in the first place for both maleShep and femShep. It would have been nice to have more casual clothing to walk around. Especially for RP game. There are ways too many formal, military clothing, there need to be more casual clothing as well. While it's cool they have variety of space armors, it wouldn't hurt to have more clothing options like the hoodie sweater of N7.

I would LOVE more casual clothes, maybe add a store in the game where you can buy them or something ... I always end up with a lot of credits but nothing to buy with them ... might as well spend it on clothes

I want more variety in clothing texture like in Dragon Age.. probably less feathery but with more leathers, unique casuals (kinda boring when you see the doctor at the citadel wearing SR-2 uniform). Only the Alliance-similar uniform have cotton at the sides while the rest seems either hard materials (like armor) or rubber (eww)... made the world boring imho. Unfortunately, textures aren't always Bioware's main specialties since they're really big on reskins but this is where modders shine for SP.

Indeed! If only it weren't so painful to mod ME3. Andromeda will be even worse in that regard.
But ye, I'm all for more casual outfits and with more variety between them.

I am serious. Sometimes I do not feel like wearing an armored suit.
As a matter of fact, BioWare, give us a clothes DLC. 50 plus pieces of clothing.

I want to wear black boots, black socks, black jeans, black belt, dark-violet shirt, black finger-cut gloves, black hood, and a silver four-way Cross around my neck.

Sounds Kasumi-ish which is good. That style would be along the lines of what id want.

Knowing Bioware, I actually wouldn't mind clothing DLC, it's way better than the typical weapons and armors DLC, provided clothing options actually more than 4 or 5 clothings. Something you can wear and can put on your companions to wear as well. ME has clothing DLC before, but it's not worth it, basically one for each companion. Would have been cool if we could switch clothings for different companions like with Fallout 4.

I loved the hoodie and jeans my MaleShep wore in the Citadel when he was just hanging out, but I haven't yet played ME3 as FemShep. Oh dear god that dress. If it's as bad as the condom Allers is wearing then it may inspire me to finally mod ME3.
I don't mind the masculine military outfits for FemShep, she's a soldier and it makes her the same as her colleagues which I like. My problem is MaleShep getting a casual regular hoodie ***EDIT it was the leather jacket, not the hoodie** but FemShep having to be sexy. That's not right. Let me chill in a hoodie for goodness sake! To be all badass combat chick one minute then tottering about on heels the next is daft.
I've loved all the outfits and textures in DAI. The detail in the different armours, and the cool, authentic look of the medium rogue armours is awesome. So more of that please, with a couple of decent casual 'chilling out' things to wear that don't give the officers a premium view of my ass ![]()

The hoodie is available for both genders, not just male Shepard.

I agree BUT I want some even more formal outfits. I would love to wear light armor around my ship. I like making badass characters for sake of RPG and I'd prefer them to wear something which says "I'm ready for battle" every moment.

My main problem wasn't the male-looking clothes, but the fact that femshep used to sit in a male pose even when she was wearing a skirt.
I liked very much the elegant dress that came with Kasumi DLC, and I would've liked to use it when she was on the Normandy, but I couldn't really bear to see her sitting down with her legs spread when she was talking to Garrus...

In fact, the clothing can be the beginning for a more, more, more immersive part of the game.
You came from the Milky Way with a lot of clothes onboard but the factory is not there anymore : you will have to create new clothes with local ressources.
In the beginning of the game, all the NPCs get the normal ME outfits and, with the main plot advancing, more and more NPC can have new clothes made with local lifeforms (animal or vegetal ones). In fact, even the MC and the squademates can get new clothes like that. Just imagine it : you meet a new alien species. The first contact goes well, you get mutual gifts... and your MC get a new casual clothe made by this species! You may even get bonus conversations if you wore this clothes while talking with the alien species!
Would be awesome for the immersion... But yeah, I know, Bioware suck at making complex game, let's stay with the guns and the biotic bewbs...

I like that idea, to gate the outfits to load as you progress in the game would be nice. Cosmetic thingymabobs definitely have an impact for me. I'm currently playing DAI and have decorated Skyhold to be as plain and Dwarven as I can, with my Inquisitor only wearing practical leather outfits that suit dwarves (imo) and it makes it her own. Then my human noble will probably be all fancy pants and Orlesian. It's a small thing but helps me differentiate between playthroughs and personalise my characters.
Doing that with clothes, and even the Normandy, would have been nice in ME too.

If they are choosing between dress up barbie/ken and money spent on art assets for planet design, ship design. Nope. The best and brightest artists should be used for original assets.
Does anyone realistically expect such a scenario to actually happen? Would a jacket, maybe a shirt or some pants really take significant time away that could have gone towards designing an entire map or a ship?

The thing that was annoying in ME was the recycled casuals. Just look at population in ME1, ME2 and ME3. They all look like they're wearing the same thing and most of the armors are reskins of another which make the world bland. Why doctors and scientists all wear the same uncomfortable skintights? Why only the illusive man wear a proper suit. Why only Allers, Brooks, Ashley and Shepard can wear the little dress. There's also those ugly colonists outfit. Did fashion sense die in 22nd century....
That's why I love modders...
but I don't complain much about armor. I think most of them are great... with mods. The Collector armor is plain ugly tho. Curiously, I notice the weave on Shepard's N7 armor in ME2 and the way the material move and the light hit it. Too bad Mass Effect 2 have terrible lighting overall. In comparison to their horrible armors in SWTOR franchise, some of the existing pieces aren't that bad. Even Anderson's bloody torn uniform in ME3 have more details. Its pure cosmetic naturally.

Might want to look at SWTOR cartel packs...
Also just because you want a shirt or a jacket, does not mean everyone in this thread does. It is impossible to make them all happy. We have someone who wants a Robert Smith outfit from the Cure, you want to look like a 20th century fighter pilot, some of the girls want to appear less soldierly.
And that is just a FEW opinions. People were not even happy with the color of the hoodie. They modded that.
It ME had to cater to every suggestion and whim? This game will in no way resemble the Mass Effect series. There would not be enough money left over to make a game.
