I'm waiting a for bit longer for information on the game and the pre-order rewards. I'll also only be pre-ordering at the local shop I'm familar with and trust to check shipments.

The only information Bioware released about the game is that it is set in Andromeda. That is not even close to being enough to justify a purchase. I'm reluctant to preorder anything anyway, and think it is generally a bad idea, particularly before review embargos have been lifted.

as far as it goes I am sceptic even about reviews, especially western ones

way too early i'm not doing anything Intel Nex black Friday  2016  i'm saving up for a bunch of stuff all around gaming editing and media center 4k capable pc ps4     4k tv by this time next year it should be easy breezy with my brand new stuff and a Pre order mass effect andromeda.

No pre-order here too. I never pre-ordered a game before and, after several screwing up this couple last years, I will never trust enough a video game company and pre-order one of this brocken pile of bug they labelled "polished product".

There is no reason to preorder unless you're absolutely set on getting that in game preorder bonus, none of which are actually that useful.

I love the Mass Effect Universe, but not enough to pre-order the next one based on the information presented to date. On top of that, I never pre-order.

Looking for a couple things as to whether I will pre order.

 

1) As others have said is this going to be like DA:I or Mass Effect. I do not want DA:I in space. I want Mass Effect. If I want to play boring side quests and just big, boring worlds or just killing mobs? I can log into WoW and level a new character. If EA wants to go the direction they went with DA:I on this game? I hope they tell us, because I will avoid the game like the plague.

 

2) Is main marketing going to be all about romance and "progressive" stuff? Then I know that they are just using the progressive stuff as a shield and are not even confident in their own product. Every single article I could find on DA:I pre launch was about romance/Dorian/Krem. I think it is all a sham.  You can call anyone who doesn't like the game a racist or a bigot (and they did, as did sell out punk game journalists), which to me is sickening and about the most scumbag behavior I can imagine from a publisher. I am not a little kid who is going to fall for such shenanigans. Also if the focus is mainly on romances? This is no longer Mass Effect, it is a dating game/fan fiction. If that is their new targeted demographic? Enjoy. I might as well go play Huniepop and bypass the boring sidequests and snooze inducing, empty "open worlds". 

 

If I see 1? I will not even play the game. If I see 2? I will look for USER reviews on sites like Metacritic and wait to purchase. Game Journalism? Can suck it. They gave DA:I game of the year, and I thought the game was awful. It is probably the worst Bioware game I have ever played. Mass Effect 3 looks like Citizen Kane compared to DA:I.

Once I'm sure I'm getting actual Mass Effect game, I'll definetly preorder. So far, there is no info from Bioware that would confirm it 100%.

 

But if it happens endlessly respawning bears from DA:I make cameo appearance in ME4 to torture me more, not only I won't preorder it. I'll skippit completely.

I'll pre-order closer to the game's release. We still don't know a whole lot about the game and I want to learn more before pre-ordering it.
