Yeah barrier saarebas + 3 physical dps is the most effective team composition for HB unless you have promotion lord/scrubs in the team...

You can  CC them while they're cloaked. Disruption Field completely wrecks the venatori faction

 

And certain forms of knockdown too. AoE KD in particular. They in the fade, not completely invincible.

No idea. Not sure it would matter too much since open and flow stance are pretty quick already, assuming the use of heart of pride in the context of barrier bot Saarebas.

When I first started on HB, that's the most consistent and convenient strategy at the time. 

 

The team just couldn't survive (maybe some of us needed to L2P) without the barrier spam. We initially tried to all go with survivable classes (namely Lego, AW, SS) but it turns out we just aren't doing enough damage. The match just drags on for hours and by the end of zone 5 every one just had enough...

 

3 dps + 1 map wide barrier bot worked much better and way faster (We went with Archer, SS, reaver and Saarebas). 

 

I know maybe some CC and dispel would help though, but I don't think it would matter too much (or make the run much faster) since you are effectively running HB with 3 players under god mode.

it stacks with itself up to three times, and works with Heart of Pride

3 times max? did you try a full team of saarebases spamming the ring or what?

Good point. Why didn't they just give them inferno pact belt + fire mine flaming array + fade shield?

Yes, 3 times max - did not try a team of Saarebas, though, just a single Saarebas casting Ring in Flow stance every repeat - applies equally to her and allies with same stacking effect.

That's true.  Well the easy solution to this is simply replace all the mages with demon commanders and give them fade cloak.

The flow stance of Saarebus's AB attack (the one that pull everything in like PoTA) interrupts terror screams.  With the PI amulet, it is easy to do self barrier, AB flow, and group barrier.   I can pull the demon commander out from the ground over and over and he just stand there do nothing.    It was funny.. drop into ground, pull him back.. drop into the ground.. pull him back....

I thought that if the demon commander could speak, he probably wants to say the line in Godfather 3...
