gamers just like to vent and when it comes to the "gay agenda" rightfully so, seeing as how many people have an issue with gay characters. Less with w/w but m/m always seems to stir the pot which is just ridiculous.
Whatever people have problems with gay characters though... I just don't really think of those people as gamers necessarily, I don't know. Like all the people I played games with growing up couldn't care less about that kind of thing, myself included.
I mean, the relative lack of quality of experience in Shadows of Undrentide is what stopped me from wanting to play Bioware games, the lack of intrigue, interest, the kind of smoothed over non-hardcore game experience? Yeah, that can bug me.
I mean, to be honest, it's kind of hard to view characters as having a "sexuality" anyway, considering they are often primarily designed with the game in mind and not necessarily extensively diving into their psyche.
Al though I will say as I think I mentioned elsewhere that the notion of a "gay agenda" in Bioware games is pretty silly it's like saying a big cake with a tiny cherry on top is like you are getting just one big cherry and the cherry is always in your face and nothing but cherry everywhere. Their games tend to be replete with such an insane amount of content, the exact sexual preferences of the people you are with is like the last thing I notice.
Especially in SWTOR I can't even keep track of which character wants what necessarily.
That said, I did come across some kind of visible people who seemed to be fairly pro-LGBT whilist being fairly anti-gaming which kinda was like.. well.. that's uh.. jeez. I never imagined growing up that a group of people marginalized their whole lives would find time to marginalize a different group of people, the world can be kinda stupid sometimes..
I don't know why I used cherry in that analogy which is kind of faintly sexual whelp it's too late to turn that ship around I'm sticking to it.
