If I ever run into someone who tries to impose a no missile rule on me, I will be sure to nuke every Wave spawn from that point on

I had a game once when I pulled out my cobra to nuke a pair of primes and the host saw it and said over his mic,"no missiles".I nuked every enemy in site,and shot the last 2 at him.Then I left the match.

That's news to me and probably everybody else, that info doesn't seem to be on the webs.

 

Anyway, what was that you said about consoles and credits? What's up with that? I have a few minutes if you wanna, y'know, tell me more about that...

 

I was invited to millions of credits/modded lobbies back in the early days of ME 3 MP. About half of the CoD:WaW multiplayer games I landed in had one or more modded players. You have about a 75% chance of running into someone with modded weapons in just about any Dead Island MP lobby.

 

Xbox isn't as easy to mod/hack as PC, but it can be done. RDR Multiplayer servers are still broken from all the hacking.

 I have never run into a match like that. I have had people question my use of cobra missiles. Claiming I've wasted them.

 

But also given the fact I tend to get missiles over medi gels more often and so many players complete unwillingness to use medi gels to revive themselves. I'd rather waste a rocket then wast medi gel and not make it past wave 6.

A few days back a Krogan fired off all his rockets at the end of wave 3 or 4, signaling the no rockets rule/trend I started.

I think you were mistaken about there being any such "rule/trend", not about who started this (almost certainly imaginary) trend.

I ran into plenty of players that did this when they seen the Sinful Force name tag. And I was happy to comply. Then the pugs were happy to comply. It was great every time, like a celebration, and would of brought a tear to my eye each time if I had emotions.

 

But the way this started was in some other missile debate topic.

I got micd up when i nuke or they post on the forum....

 

Nowadays i wait a bit just to see the lobby, but:

 

target wave: i nuke the first two or three

weak pug: I nuke

chain revive: I nuke

double plat prime: I nuke

triple plat prime with six turret and 8 drones I NUKE THE MOFO.

 

the banshee is hugging the poor pug that despite the good effort is getting the biatch --> I NUKE.

 

wave 11 extraction: I NEVER NUKE (If I get in wave 11 with a missile left it was a boring game...)

Reload canceling is a skill. I've assigned it to my mouse wheel to make it easier. I don't consider that cheating, since remapping keys is allowed. 

 

I've separated use from space bar, so now I can run with the pizza, but it only works when lag is tiny or I'm host, so mostly I walk the pizza anyway.

 

I did use the crusader fix to reduce the lag. The difference is actually not that much. I don't consider that cheating because (I read on the forum) that the smaller lag was originally intended, but BW never got around to fixing it. With the longer lag, the heavy weight is too much of a penalty, and I wouldn't use the crusader, so this way I do use it. 

 

I don't know how to do 66666 or the other stuff, and don't really have any desire to do it. And I don't really know if anyone is doing any of that. Never had a missile glitcher on the team. Guess I'm too lazy to cheat.

A wise man you are. That's my typical ruleset, although I only nuke first target if it's a banshee/atlas/prime/phantom/crab.

Playing without missiles takes tight 20 year old balls. So very understandable for it's popularity to be so 80 years old low.

Yeah, in 5000 games I've never encountered any such thing, and suspect everyone else here is in the same boat- this rule/trend exists solely in Sinful's mind. Or maybe he's just confused, and was thinking of the rule the devs implemented, i.e. that if someone fires off all their missiles it means they're not going to use any missiles for the rest of that game. But that's basically just a truism, not really a trend or rule.

I've actually done a few no missile runs. They're pretty fun imo, not a biggie. Pretty fun and easy with biotic boom squad or techsplosion team. It's when missiles are allowed and nobody uses them until w10 targets or extraction that pisses me AWF.

Well if you're talking about that big list of console commands you posted a couple months ago on your blog, none of adjustcredits givecredits awardcredits and givegawcredits seem to affect the mp credits.

Can confirm my command works, just empted out 87 million of my account. Bryan Johnson would be proud. He'd also be disappointed I found a command to give myself 1 of every consumable.
