I opened up my pirate ship today and one of my interiors is missing a tile. Specifically, it's missing the captain's quarters, which is actually a special 2-tile tile.

I believe the MDB file is this: tl_ps_m0201_capt.MDB

However, I can't make this show up in the toolset again. When I open the area I get two errors:

Input string not in the correct format... NWN2GameAreaTileData.set_Appearance(TwoDAReferenceValue)

Input string not in the correct format... NWN2GameAreaTileData.LoadFromGFFStruct(GFFStruct cStruct)

I've tried adding a line to my tiles.2da to make it show up.

1087 Captain_Quarter **** PS M0201 1

But that doesn't actually make it placeable. I can see the text under the pocket ships tiles, but when I go to place it, it's just an empty tile.

I keep pretty much everything backed up, so I did a search on my backup directory and found every previous tiles.2DA I had, and examined them all individually, and I cannot find a reference to that MDB file anywhere. But I know at one time it was available, because I used it and it was placed (and I put several placeables in that room, and now they're sitting on a black empty space).

Any idea how to get this tile back and be able to re-place it? I really liked that tile...

Got it figured out. I was missing the metatile.2da file.

For building the rest of the campaign, I had taken all my .2da files out of my HAK and put them in override. Somehow, the metatile.2da file went missing. I found a backup and it's working.
