So, I stuck a sigil of the great bear on my armour, and went out full of excitement, expecting elemental mines with throw everything upgrade to destroy my GPU, but it seems that it doesn't increase the number of mines as expected. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it jut a disturbing failure to count on my part? The mines still wreck mobs like no tomorrow, but I want to cause even more CTDs

Just use the other upgrade... Works better in most situations (where there isn't a lot of mobs around) and you make better use of your stamina.
