I rather they remake the game and shelve the Lazarus ****. At least Bioware learn their lesson with KOTFE.
I wouldn't have a problem if they rewrote the game. Heck. Just rewrite the trilogy. Here's a thread asking that question, if interested
You learn something new every day
I guess I hadn't talked to her when I tried out a bit of ME3 with no import from ME2. Thanks, I will edit it out since it's completely wrong
Actually someone else, probably glyph, mentions it in the background and Shepard will say "Wait, Liara's the Shadow Broker?" I think that's it.

Despite some silliness, there is no need to rewrite Mass Effect 1. The only thing major I would change would be to have the control console not be the Council chambers or lampshade that somehow by demonstrating that there was something about it that was unknown.

That's fine. Why no post your comment in the link I provided?
I hate kill-resurrection trope.... next to deus ex machina and "its all a dream". I tolerate it for ME but it could have been better.
ooo another thread to write on.. yes~~~

Because I didn't feel like diving into another thread at that moment. ![]()
Maybe later.
Shepard would no longer be interesting if he/she was continually trotted out to save the galaxy. It would also make the universe seem like a much smaller place than it should, if it had to keep relying on a single person to solve its problems.
It's best to leave whatever Shepard gets up to in the aftermath of ME3 to head canon and fanfiction. It definitely shouldn't be the focus of a game.
If that happens, it won't be with Liara's help. Samantha knows that femshep and Miranda are good friends. She would get a hold of Miranda to do what she did in ME2. hahaha
I'm not sure she actually knows that Miranda was lead on the Lazarus project, good friends with Shepard or no - which in itself might not be true, Miranda could even be dead by the end of the game. And even if she's alive and adores Shepard, she doesn't have the kind of resources TIM spent to make it happen or a huge organization to facilitate it.

And T'soni can be dead as well.

True, so neither could have Lazarussed Shepard again and still remained canon to every playthrough.

Liara is the Shadow Broker, the old one of which had cameras and spies, most notably Wilson, on Lazarus station. She knows.

My Shepard isn't dead so he wouldn't need it.
Shepard is dead.Jesus!!!Enough of him!!!
I want a new hero!!

We were talking about Traynor.

Ah, ok. Liara's name was first so I attached "she" to her.

People are allowed to like whoever they want.
No, Shepard's time have come and gone and not it's up to the new protagonist.
There were a lot of holes in the ME trilogy that can still be filled. They already have the structure of a good base but they choose to jump ship for a complete retcon in another galaxy because people are vocal about their hate of the ending? That they don't have the nice neat conclusion as in DAO and DAI... where the Inquisitor live happily forever with the LI somewhere.
Shepard doesn't think about it except for one scene in ME3.

Unless Miranda is dead.
True. The same can be said about Liara.
People are allowed to like whoever they want.
And Stronglav wants non-Shepard. What's your point?

There's no comparison. I haven't played DAI yet but Origins was an self-contained story and was properly wrapped up with a proper ending and a proper epilogue. You set out to defeat the blight and you finish by defeating the blight. ME3, on the other hand, changes the focus in the last scene and had an insulting epilogue, followed by an ad to buy DLC. Then the Extended Cut put in the epilogue slides and voice overs, which were not very good either.
What Shepard thinks about depends entirely on the player.
Only in your imagination. Where, other than the one scene on Chronos Station, can I have Shepard express thoughts on having died? Where are the effects on his character shown?

Well, it is a roleplaying game. After thinking about it, I've determined that the only reasonable thing for Shepard to do under the circumstances really is to pretend that it never happened.
Making a big deal of it would just make others uneasy or distrustful towards him/her, not to mention straining his/her own sanity, and nobody who has any answers can be trusted to actually give them straight as unfortunate revelations would just impair Shepard in assisting humanity - which Shepard isn't interested in either.

Funny thing. In ME2 there was Miranda, the director the Lazarus Project, Kelly Chambers, the ship's counselor, Doctor Chakwas, Shepard's physician, Shepard's friend Joker. The brilliant scientist Mordin Solus, the deeply spiritual (and nonjudgemental) Thane. Probably others I haven't considered.
None of whom Shepard can confide in. Not much for role-playing.
