U don´t grab a Geth Prime, Geth Prime grabs U, that is of course, if his effing drone doesn´t hit you through a dozen walls.

Eh, it's probably too big for you to handle, anyways. Should try Geth Hunters, I heard they come at you from the front and back. You used to be able to handle Pyros, but now they come in dry and they leave you with this burning sensation.

Shoot a rocket at his feet, at the moment when he is looking up to the sky before exploding is when you can grab him and slam dunk, its a tricky .1 sec window of opportunity,  but space magic will allow it

Only Krogan can grab Primes, the other species aren't strong enough. You also need to strip it of its shield first and it can not have a turret or drone active because those block the grab by interrupting you.

The geth prime is too big to grab, as all of the large bosses are. I can grab dragoons, bees, bombers and phantoms though.

It can get grabbed by bosses though. Seeing a praetorian sink it's head into a geth prime's crotch is pretty satisfying.
