Dual wielding should not be an option at all because it is impractical. I'd rather Bio gives us more varied weapons than dual wielding.
So, Fallout 4 is your basis for enjoyment/quality that ME:A should beat? Why?
What you are asking is the ability to create your own class, a super hybrid class or have an over-powered class or no classes at all. That is very different from changing your class anytime you want in game.
OK they can make over 300+ weapons for players to use, customize, and upgrade weapons but they should revamp their crafting system for to be enjoyable and to experiment. And I still think dual wielding should be put for other players that may want to have that, as I said before it is optional that you wanted dual wield or not.
Because Fallout 4 have many experiences to offer gamers such as build your own house, settlement, and economy, a free roam game that does not limit storytelling, have different endings for different outcome (something that ME3 has failed to do in the first place before they made the extended ending dlc.) and better quests. And yes.
About the classes I meant that if you choose a specific class, the class stays with your character permenantly. All I'm saying is your classes' powers, melee weapons and melee/unarmed styles, and upgrade/change your class specializations are customizable. I hope I've answered your questions if not let me know.
Good charaters, in-depht relationships, (more ME3 less DAI) and a really good villain, someone sufficiently grey that one does not know if they really are wrong or right.

Hey I just put these two games as an example of how they can put all elements like gameplay, combat, graphics, and environment into one without compromising the storyline and character development. All I'm saying is that BioWare is gonna have to change and to stay ahead of their game, their storyline and characters are the bomb don't give me wrong, but there is always room for improvement and they should take the opportunity to learn different things and pay attention to other games to make their games better and more exciting. Not just stick to their guns and only rely on storylines and lackluster repetitive gameplay, otherwise BioWare won't stay relevant for long. People expect to experience different things in games and different outcomes and that is the purpose of my topic of what I am trying to implement fresh ideas to have new experiences on this award winning game to make it more better than Mass Effect 3.
Why do they have to change? Going open world on DA:I did not accomplish anything, except tick people off, have people giving it a horrible metacritic user rating and people not buying it.
Witcher 3 did not sell many times more than Mass Effect games, in fact it probably sold less than some. Add to that? Bioware/EA probably cleared way more money with DLC.
Skyrim? Skyrim sold so many copies for one reason (and same will be true with Fallout 4 after the initial push). Modding. You cannot mod the Frostbite engine yet, we do not even have tools from Johan to do it. Those games are basically a sandbox for modders. Why do you think Bethesda is trying to get the PC mods playable on consoles for Fallout 4? Because THAT is the draw of the game.
THAT is why those games sell so much and Skyrim's PC Sales blew away console sales, all due to modding. Skyrim and Fallout is the only "open world RPG" that sells like crazy.
I have never once heard someone praise Skyrim's story as mind blowing, and the characters as mindblowing. That is the entire draw of Mass Effect. If EA/Bioware does a bait and switch on this franchise? People are not going to be happy. They will be even more angry than they were with DA:I. DA:I has D & D roots where some players were willing to go grind on pointless mobs (and they are used to doing it in MMO's). Mass Effect was a fast paced shooter/story driven game. The fan bases are not the same. You can like both series, but that does not mean everyone who played and loved ME did.
I will never understand how people can ask for more "open worlds" and then complain about fetch quests and boring terrain and forgettable areas.
It is like people think you can make a 3 year game (and that is what ME 1 and ME 2 took) but multiply that in scope and size and make it all open world, while still having everything be super polished and memorable. People are basically asking for the impossible.
CD Projket Red pulled off a partially open world approach in The Witcher 3, without sacrificing a strong focus on story and characters. The quality of the side quests in that game are on par with Mass Effect 2, and far better than what we got with Dragon Age: Inquisition. So it isn't entirely impossible.
Having said that...I understand where you are coming from. The larger and more expansive the open world, the greater the risk of losing some of that focus on story or characters, or of there just being so much open world that the devs have to resort to fetch quests and the like as filler content.
Open world is great only so long as the tradeoff isn't a weaker story, a less immersive gameworld, or a greater amount of uninteresting side quests populated by lifeless characters.

Hey it will be sweet if they have a new weapon designs like I like Halo series and more firepower to shoot through walls, enemies armor, and mounted weapons for the Mako customizable.

Well if you put it that way you have a point. But it doesn't mean that BioWare can try something new for their games like other games do, I keep saying "One man can do, another man can do."

The console sales far outpaced the PC sales and you couldn't mod on that. PC sales were a mere 14% of the total sales. Even with all its issues it sold better on the PS3 then on the PC. You don't have to like the same things others do. There is no reason to come up with excuses like modding. People just like different things. And lots and lots of people like what Bethesda delivers.
Edit to add I'm shocked they broke a billion in sales for skyrim. I love the game but a billion in sales for a video game just blows my mind.

Do you have a source to back that up?
Right now, vgchartz shows: Skyrim: Xbox360 - 8.62M, PS3 - 6.34M, PC - 3.83M Fallout 3: Xbox360 - 4.79M, PS3 - 3.81M, PC - 0.97M Fallout 4: PS4 - 4.42M, XOne - 2.57M, PC - 0.71M
It looks to me like there are a lot of people who enjoy Bethesda's games on non-moddable consoles.
Mass Effect was a fast paced shooter/story driven game.
Not always. Believe it or not, there are still some people around who preferred ME1 over ME2&3.
I wish... for EA to package an experience that is worth the standard triple A game price. As the years go on, quite a few publishers (especially EA) have been packaging less, and less game for the same price, and selling the rest as DLC later to either get the game out ASAP, or make larger profits for less material. The end result is the same either way.
ME:3's day one DLC was guilty of this sin.
Destiny was guilty of it.
Star Wars Battlefront was guilty of it.
Don't partition off content knowingly to sell it as day 1 DLC, or even worse yet; to sit on and pretend it wasn't finished on release day.
Don't attempt milk the multiplayer for microtransaction money like every asian free to play shooter has been doing for years, or what halo 5 tried to do with its bullshit time : currency ratio relative to the price of packs. We all know we're going to pay at least 60 usd for the base game before DLC. Don't force microtransactions on players like halo 5 does when we already paid at least 60 dollars for the game to own it!

Halo 5, or any game for that matter, doesn't force microtransactions. You don't have to pay for the packs. Just play the MP, earn points, and use those.
Plus paying $60 for a game is a bargain, since the price never increased even with all the inflation. We should be paying almost twice that, but game companies kept it at $60.

And if done well I have no objections. ME3mp was fine. I'd speed it up a little bit for my ideal but you can easily improve your manifest through play. I haven't played halo5 yet but there are plenty of games that allow in game building of money to purchase as opposed to micro transactions but the rate of gain is so slow that micro transactions are the only effective way to gain items. There are different levels of forced in this context.

Games are the best entertainment value around, imho. Hundreds (perhaps thousands) of hours of entertainment for the price of one night out.

The Arkham series is also open word, and as far as I'm concerned, it's flawless.

Halo 5 is about on par with Mass Effect 3. You can earn enough points for the highest pack in about 4-5 games of Warzone, while in ME3 you can get the highest pack in about 3-4 games on Silver difficulty.

Red Dead Redemption and the GTA games also maintained a strong focus on characters despite being open world. They aren't RPGs of course, but they're worth mentioning.

I'm not a fan of hit triangle repeatedly to win 90% of the fights. Basically I think they did the open world part fairly well but the combat engine blows. But things like the riddler quests are just fetch quests(collect shards)but done so well by integrating puzzles that they remain entertaining.
There are 10 million DIGITAL owners of Skyrim on Steam. That is in addition to the almost 4 million physical you listed.
Bethesda does gangbusters on PC due to modding. Heck I think it is the first thing people buy when they get a Gaming PC. I don't even like Skyrim and I bought the PC copy to mod it and see how many tex mods and how much VRAM I could eat up lol. I bought Fallout 4 and have not even played it much yet, because I am waiting for the texture mods etc.

See above. Also Fallout 4 will have the exact same thing happen over time, because it is moddable. Fallout 4 has 2.5 million already sold on Steam
and is ahead of Xbox One already, when physical copies are included and behind PS4. It will eventually crush console sales, just like Skyrim did. There simply are not a lot of mods out yet for it. Texture mods etc, take time. The game is simply ugly in it's vanilla form (same engine as Skyrim) and we have 4 gig and up VRAM GPU's to run textures that will make Fallout 4 look like this.
Mass Effect? Was bigger on consoles, but you are looking at a time when PC Gaming was VERY expensive compared to consoles. I gamed on both PC and Xbox at that time and actually originally played it on Xbox before I got sick of load times and bought physical copies (Steam was still growing back then to on the first ME's). Add to that ME 3 was on Origin and Origin had to work to be accepted. Steam was THE service. We have accepted Origin now, we still hate Uplay. We are hoping MS does not create another GFWL...
DA:I? EA has never released hard numbers or Origin numbers. Would be interesting to see. I bet it sold more on PC than Xbox, but PS4 was probably the lead sales platform.

There are digital sales on consoles, too. I've purchased more Playstation games digitally through the Playstation Store than actual physical disks.

I don't deny the appeal - but I suspect a lot of those sales would have been made even without modding. Obviously, all of the console sales were made with no expectation of modding.
I didn't use vgsales for my 14%. Statistics brain and they claim they used steam in gathering their stats. So even with digital sales I think the PC got blown away. But it's not a surprise, the PC gets blown away in sales almost universally.

For Skyrim? Nah. New games? Kind of. VGchartz is still useful as a barometer for consoles, because most people buy physical on console still, because they can sell them at Gamestop etc. For PC? VGchartz is useless other than looking to see how many Collector's Editions we bought, and even then they have digital collectors editions (I bought the SWTOR one). We can't sell our used games, so there is no real appeal to a hard copy. We buy a game, start downloading it before official release (games usually have early download), and when the clock strikes midnight we are playing it.

We know Skyrim has sold over 20 million. VGCHARTZ says almost 4 million physical on PC. Steam has sold almost 10 million on PC digitally.
That is around 14 million out of 20 million. You do not need to be a statistics major to do that math. But whatever. If you want to argue empirical evidence? Go for it. This is the Bioware forum after all. I expect it at this point...
My wish list item I rarely see is, I want enemies to use biotics and tech powers on us. Once your shields are down you better dodge that blue orb arcing towards you. Blow my shields out with a overload, shut off my guns, put up a singularity I need to avoid, light me in fire, pester me with a drone. I want the added challenge.
