Hi folks! I've been trying to play Inquisition on the Xbox 360 ... the most frustrating problem, by far, is that I just can't read the smallest of the small print. It's very fuzzy, even when I get up close to my HDTV.

So I'm thinking about getting an Xbox One - does anyone know if the fine print is sharper & easier to read on that platform?

Thanks so much!

There should be an option under settings that should help you solve your problem.
If you do switch to Xbox One, make sure to grab the Game Of The Year Edition! :)

I've tried playing around with the Xbox display settings - I could only choose between Normal and Widescreen, and neither option helped with this problem.

I tried in-game display options, but didn't see any option that would allow me to increase the size of the text. I also played around with my TV's display options, but nothing I tried made a real difference.

I thought Patch 5 was supposed to fix the problem with text size ... but maybe that was just for the subtitles during dialogue...?

Thanks for the reply Pokemario!

I'd guess few folks will be able to directly answer the question from experience (as that would require them to have bought both 360 and One versions of the game), but as someone who has played the One version, I never had any trouble reading everything clearly even across the room.

It does seem odd that this would be the only game to provide you with clarity problems. Obviously it would suck to find out it was an issue with your television rather than with the game. That said, if you're already considering upgrading your console, Trespasser alone will justify getting the updated version of the game.

I own an XB1 and PS4 and repeatedly notice better display quality on PS4 version of games due to higher resolution i guess.

As someone who's been playing on 360, YES, get a next gen. I've played it on my buddy's PS4 and the difference in quality is almost astounding. I think it's safe to assume it'll look loads better on XB1 as well.

(I think the GOTY edition is on sale at Walmart for like $40 by the way!!)

Yes the text size fix was only subtitles fix so everything in dialogue wheel, journal, codex, war table and well everything else is small as it has always been, I have same problem on PS3.
