DLC Won't Download

Ok so here's my problem, I select one of the DLC to download and go to the pending page and select it, yet when I select to download now, a little xbox appears for a few seconds and then nothing happens. No matter how many times I try nothing will download. Anyone know whats wrong??

Exit to your dashboard. For some reason the DLC will not begin downloading while the game is loaded.
Once you exit to the dashboard, click the Xbox button (center of the controller), tab over twice to the left and select 'Active Downloads'. You should see that it is no longer pending and is indeed downloading the content.
