So I wanted to played the game in the graphical quality I can. So I upped the resolution to 1800P and used my driver software to enable the max and best AA settings I could and BAM, I now get 10fps on the main menu instead of 30? Is 30 really the max? Anyways... My specs are as follows

 

I5 3570 3.4ghz

AMD R9 290

12GB DDR3

on that page you will find

 

Increasing FPS

1. Open JadeEmpire.ini in the installation folder
2. Set clampFPS to 0 and save your changes.

Also is this command also in jadeEmpire.ini

 

RefreshRate=60  I think for PC is defaulted at 60, but if you do not set the "ClampFPS=0" to zero and leave it at one the FPS will be locked at 30.

 

[ Just a side note I have played through many times, so I use Cheat engine to test new Ideas ] I have found that setting ClampFPS to 0 can cause some hiccups with certain cheat engine tables, possibly this is something in the Lua scripted tables.
