It seems that during gameplay I am getting "caught up" on top of or on the side of scenery, and once this happens I can't move Shep back to where she was before... In essence I become stuck. What gives?
(PC collectors' edition on Vista, no other gameplay problems noticed yet)
Shepard ceases to move; reloading doesn't help

Reload a save.
