Morning, all.  Just a quick question- When playing Jaws of Hakkon has anyone had weird graphical/texture issues with the water?   On my game even from the first day I installed and played it....Water was flowing from nowhere.....Land could be totally dry and not a body of water in sight (though I do hear it somewhere in the background)...But waves would just roll up seemingly out of nowhere.

I thought it might be an  Nvidia driver issue so I re-installed a series of older drivers....But I now have the newest driver 361.43 for my  EVGA 4Gb GTX 980FTW and still the same thing happens.

Is anyone else who uses an Nvidia card experiencing this issue?     And what of those of you who use AMD/ATI cards?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?       It's not an absolute game breaker for me, it's just....odd.

Thanks

eah, in the basin, the water will come up through the terain unless you set Textures to Fade Touched on Nividia GPUs at least. Mine does it too, even on dual Titans. Not a big deal IF your GPU can hadle Ultra/High/Fade Touched setting but, for slightly lesser GPUs, it is a very annoying graphics glitch.

I could get technical and explain why but, it bouls dow to dry ground level being the same or just a fraction above calm water level for the zone, Add a wave from the water (which is barely underdround) an a low poind in what is supposed to be dry ground and, oops, that's what you get unless your GPU renders things microscopicaly perfect. (Simplified but, you get the idea.)

You need to revert to the 353 branch (353.62) for water to render correctly in that zone.

Happens in other places too (e.g. docked ships along the pier in Redcliffe.)

Not true, I am running 361.43 and, with all graphics setting maxed, the water is fine, no waves in the basin in JoH, the boats still don't float quite right but, they never have.

Well, that didnt work. Guess i`ll have to bounce off waves in the middle of basin for good. Fade-touched helped nothing on my nvidia.
