Have we had a bit of clutter suggested? I could see that as being a thing for a few of my characters along with purchasing things like books, posters, figurines and collectibles like ships.  

 

If we start out as a grunt, it could be neat to be sharing quarters with someone and being able to do some limited customization before you move into your own space where you have more rein. Bonus if your quarters, solo or shared, are inspected at one point and potentially criticised for it's state or for having non-approved items.

I was actually considering all of this things while addind them to the list! since we are not captains or anything like that, i've been wondering what kind of changes can we (AND SHOULD WE) do. However, since there's no evidence of anything out of the ordinary in that department, i don't think we should worry...for now, anyway. It's also the reason why i mentioned posters as one of the first ideas. I had little more to go on but the people here always have ideas so we are saved ^^.

It would be awesome if we could discuss this mechanic you are proposing about inspections, sharing your quarters and so on! (in order to write it down as a conclusion and not just some idea that can get overlooked easily. I think it's really cool and original!

I've been thinking about glasses and that sort of thing but i'm not sure how we could have that if we are a mere grunt instead of the captain xD

What's this "Ryder" all of a sudden?

 

Someone noticed that the dog tags in one of the trailers had the name Ryder on them. Since that was pointed out, the common assumption around these parts is that the dog tags belong to the protagonist.

 

That said there is another less popular fan theory that the dog tags belong to the N7 guy in the trailer, and that the protagonist is searching for the N7 guy after he went missing. That fan theory also ties in to the lyrics of the song used in the trailer. "Ghost Riders in the sky."

I always have to have all of the models in the display case. It reminds me of the ship models on the USS Enterprise. I guess it also feeds into my love of replica collecting.

I'd love to be able to customize the Protagonist's quarters. A feature to change the wall and lighting color would make me very happy. 

 

I've always thought that there should be more holograms in the ME universe. Placing little hologram projectors around the room, A large framed image that you can cycle through according to your mood. I liked the fish tank as well, but I'd prefer that the fish couldn't die on you. 

 

In my daydreams, I know, but I'd love if my character could keep a little cat that I could call, "Jonesy."
