I played human in ME trilogy. Now I want diversity.

I want something different and new.

Repeating old gameplay is stagnation and death of the company.

No one's gonna buy same old @@#@@ over and over again.

New ideas or death.Choice is simple. They choose old.

Well...... there are other RPG games.Goodbye.

Goodbye, i guess ^^ take care

Oh, I didn't realize those were the only two options.

Well, if it's either multiple races and growth or only human and death, they should definitely not pick death. That would be bad.

I bet most interesting fictional characters are human, even in science fiction books/games/movies. Not the dev's fault if you are unable to create a fun human character.

Well, since the developers are the ones that create the options for the player to use to create the character, it actually is since they didn't make options for the player in question found satisfying. The only time it is the player's fault is when everything is up to the player, so for RPGs really that means only the pen and paper ones.

Lets say interstellar jump is done by pilot but inside the star system I wanna pilot my ship.

Yeah sorry. My personal preference would be to not pilot my own ship. Seriously, I'm pretty sure that with larger ships, in both civilian and military situations, the captain or watch-keeping mate or officer stays on the bridge (wheelhouse) but someone else handles the steering. Steering a vessel at sea is actually kind of boring (hence Joker's x tetrabyte collection of porn), but can get very exciting (rough weather, docking, fighting aliens or some tourist who is unfamiliar with the rules of the road or drunk). You don't want the person with the ultimate responsibility to be bored out of their mind. At the same time when things get difficult, it's actually better to have a bit of oversight in ship management, probably more so when you are travelling around the speed of light.
