As a general rule I always prefer the middle ground its more flexible in difficult situations with multiple enemy types.

Semi gives you options headshot or lay down steady fire. The armor lets you take a few in closer as well if you're using a pistol.

Nades increase the effectiveness of a semi. Wounded enemies plus panic give you the extra second or two to be precise and time to relax enough to be quick.

Why? They are all too feeble for me. Give me the Arc Projector/Geth Spitfire & Michonne's Katana, as well as the Reckoner-Knight armor.

Heavy armor, for protection and the intimidation factor.

 

Semi-automatic. The Mattock is my favorite Mass Effect weapon.

 

Exotic grenades for sure. I want to throw a device that creates mini black holes and such.

Medium armor - A mix of both protection and mobility

 

Automatic weapon - Specifically an assault rifle. Range + an excellent rate of fire? Yes, please. 

 

Plasma Grenades - Cloaking would be of very limited utility. Once you fired you'd be exposed whether cloaked or not, so I'd rather have the grenades. Cover and concealment likely still works just fine in the 23rd Century. And grenades that can actually kill would be of more use then futuristic flash-bangs

My character need a massive energy-based two-handed battleaxe similiar to the Bound Battleaxe in Skyrim. Ranged weapons seem less honorable for a warrior.

Heavy armour. Slower movement means that there will be less reliance on twitch mechanics.

Semi-automatic. A sniper rifle, preferablyone that allows me to one-shot most opponents.

Cloak. You see now where I'm going with this. With the cloak, I can hide until I fire, and when I fire I usually kill my target, thus exposing me to no danger. If things go wrong, I have heavy armour to buy me time to get away.

1 light armor as long as it looks like rigid plates and not just padding.

2. Semi auto specifically shotgun. I like skeet and trap shooting. Pull plus shotgun= both depending on how you angle the pull

3. Biotics. No grenades, no cloak, no funky ammo. Biotics.

Side note there is a law that you must yell grenade when throwing a grenade. I've seen it in the movies. My neighbors complain. Hence no grenades.

Cloak because of loophole in the wording of the question, swords don't shoot so unlimited cloaking baby!

Light armour: less weight means i don't get tired as fast. and i can move faster.
 

Semi-automatic: easier to aim and hit and usually more punch behind each shot.

 

Plasma grenades: either to scare enemies from cover (or kill the slow one) and should be able to disable/destroy vehicles and buildings. (Always wanted to open a door with a grenade)

1. Heavy Armor, of the "can double as cover for your allies" type.

 

2. Automatic. Preferably something like the ME3 Lancer, with its regenerating ammo.

 

3. Grenades: Something like an underbarrel launched air-burst smart grenade, to kill clustered enemies and enemies behind cover.

Medium armor - I don't want to die all the time but I'm not excited about tanking either 

Semi-automatic - best of both worlds

Special ammo - if it does lots of destruction (missile launcher comes to mind), because sometimes you just need to end the conversation quickly

 

My favorite class was Engineer so I think this fits - though you'd have to consider the combat drone "special ammo" in that case.  :-)

Because even with light armor I was slow sometimes so I need some support here.

I am playing KOTOR1 at the moment, so I have strong melee feelings. But with my future protagonist in ME:A?

Moved fast as a vanguard but used slow firing pistols and shotguns. I wanna really feel my guns and taste the blood. No automatics.

3: Special Ammo

I love special ammo's.

Light armour because I like to play fast and flexible characters. (My second choice would be medium to be a little more of a damage sponge.)

 

Semi-automatic weapon because I love having control over every single bullet - one of the reasons I adore the Mattock. It might not be the most powerful gun, but it's just so precise. 

 

And GRENADES. Because... I mean.... G R E N A D E S. I enjoy wreaking havoc.

 

I suppose I'd pick these because I like playing dexterous characters that get a lot of action and deal tons of damage (and critical damage) if the build allows.
