This gnome has been depressed and procrastinating far too long... Too much pain, too much unfinished Spelljammer thingys in 2015... So, here we declare:

 

 

- to tinker and finish as much NWN SJ stuff as we can in the run to 2016.

- here, to only post pictures of our Spelljammer projects.

 

 

 

Anybody wanting to contribute anything Spelljammer related is welcome in this thread !

Here are some screenshots of a modified Hammership tileset i am working on. This is based on Rabid Goalie initial Hammership tileset (directly compatible), but with twists, fixes and new texture work. My goal was to improve the flying illusion, add lacking features and of course: add new tiles :-) For those who know the old set, try spotting differences...

We are firmly navigating the 2016 sphere and some of you are probably curious to know how this TGSJR thing is going. Well... Done some work and encountered various adverse currents, yep! Obviously, it is harder to push the Hammership MK2 Tileset to the needed level, than what i had planned, but still progressing. So, slowly going, seeing lighthouse, approaching port...

- 7 different loadscreens are included in the tileset package. Five are new. The last two were to be included with the original Hammership but never found their way (reclaimed from the Anakolia hak).

Good stuff... never did get into spelljammer much back in the day but that's all very cool.  Of the many 90s campaign worlds (planescape, dark sun, spelljammer, ravenloft) birthright was the one I collected the most.

Thanks ! Strangely, i am in your boat. Missed completely the SpellJammer campaign in its heyday. In fact, that's the advent of CCC 2013 Arcane Space that activated my Space + AD&D buttons simultaneously.

Log Status:
Still going. Comet tail debris heavily damaged hull and slowed us for weeks. Were able repair ship and resume trip. Ample air supply. Sufficient food. Raenei orbit targeted. Note: avoid dark side at all costs.


Next trip of the Spelljamming journey is shorter and should take less time ;-) In-between planets, we will show some of the add-ons made for the Arcane Space pack (CCC September 2013). These things are intended to replace original content in the pack (if you find'em of interest, of course). First, there are some reworked portraits for the Spelljammers and second, an improved Asteroid5 placeable. Old space wizard tower was transformed to a new lighthouse because, you know, Wildspace lanes are in dire need of such things...



Aren't these ships portraits cute ? Last one is an original one (i needed something to fill a 3 X 6 catalog) but i will redo it too.



New asteroid5 version. Could possibly evolve a little more (not very fond of the texture).
