Well, I am still sad that I can't get access to the Light-Thorn Steed, the Avvar Mixed Draft, the Primal Trained Longma, the Ring of Technical Logic, the Premier Ring of Insight, the Amulet of Martial Determination, the Amulet of Master Studies and the Ring of Master Studies... My game feels incomplete. :'(
After a one year exclusivity, wouldn't it be nice to release it as a small, final DLC or Update? Maybe at the end of the current Multiplayer campaign? Actually, I am willing to pay for that as it would finally complete my game.
Release the locked exclusive content?

No. Exclusives should really remain exclusive.

I think something like that already exists on Origin and PS4. Don't know about Xbox One.
Wait you're talking about pre-order bonuses and the like ? Then you're out of luck I'm afraid.

I am actually talking about the stuff that, for example, required you to play using a specific graphic card or mouse, if I understood well...
I did get the preorder content.

xb1, 360, ps3 and ps4 have a few accessories and mounts locked that were exclusive to pc players that were promotional content for logitec and raidon to package with their product.
It's on disk and it permenantly unavailable for xbox and playstation. The mounts have slots on the mount choice menu.
You had to buy a mouse/keyboard for the Logitech which gave a lightning/skeletal ghost horse that has a unique model that had no reskin in the rest of the game. The raidon had an armored mount that also had an exclusive model but ugly looking armor.
even if jumped through the hoops and you got them for pc you were denied them for the consoles.
The accessories are negligible because there are some with similar effects in game, that are obsolete mid game so I don't care about those. What irks me is that consoles were denied one of the better looking mounts due to this promotional BS

Actually, for both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, those promotional packs were re-released as a DLC (the Promotional Packs), so it wouldn't be a first time. They have remained exclusive for more than one year and as the last multiplayer event will end (if I am not wrong) on the 4th, I guess many player will more or less stop playing the game now, so it would have been effectively exclusive for most people. And as the models already exist somewhere at Bioware, I guess it wouldn't be difficult to code them in both for PC and Consoles (a mere unlock).

I think I have the Avvar Mixed Draft and the Amulet of Martial Determination, but I'm not using a Radeon so I'm not sure where else I could have gotten it if not as part of the pre-order.

You were not forced to buy a radeon product to get the item. You could just make an account and make a few posts or something on their site. However this was still exclusive to the PC.
The files are on the disk for all systems. All it is is a code to access the content just like all the promotional content for DA2. and in the menu for mount selection consoles have a permenant "unavailable" for the Logitech and radeon promotions. The primal logma however was available to those who at least got the standard ($35 or so) collectors edition, possibly the standard ($20) or the digital strategy guide.
That one is identical to the other logmas however.

Never done that either. If I remember right I got it from pre-ordering on Amazon.

Then you must not be located in the US if that is the case or a lucky recipient of a glitch. I hunted down all retailers in search for what pre order bonuses were available.
Though are you sure it's the mixed draft and not the one from the spoils of the avaar or the inquisition charger?

Yeah, I'm sure it's the Avvar Mixed Draft and not the one from Spoils of the Avvar. It might have been a mistake on Amazon's part. When pre-load first became available the product code I got was only for DLC and not the actual game. I got the code for the actual game an hour or two later.

i'd find that curious that amazon would even have the code to unlock it because unless they offered it outside of the US they did not have the contract for it so there would be one major or a screw up on someone's part for amazon to even have the code to give to you to get it because of the radeon exclusivity.

They may do the same when we get closer to DA4 development.

^ About 20 months after DA2 release they unlocked almost all of the exclusive content. The only exceptions that remain to this day are the Blood Dragon Armor, Ser Isaac Armor, and the Signature Edition bonus items.
So, sure, they might do something similar down the line for DAI.

It wasn't just me. There are still a couple of day-one one-star reviews from people complaining they only got code for DLC rather than the game. And digital downloads are US only.

I'm not going to lie, it gave an incentive to play even more. After playing a couple of hours, I was hooked
