Yeah, you had the option to do so, but the "real" romance arc was if you chose the "love" path.

 

I'm just wondering why we don't seem to meet people who are only interested in sex for fun and that's it.

 

As far as I am concerned romances in general are a huge waste of resources considering the end result,

but if the new trend is demands for non-sexual romance, I might as well ask why not a sex-for-fun-only relationship.

 

The Witcher does recreational sex, and it's a big reason many BW fans called it "childish" and "nothing more than ****** material for 14 year old boys." So apparently you need a romantic story arc to keep everything mature and legitimate.

I think her point was that many guys want their girls to be nun-like, or perhaps they are hoping to have a less sexual relationship with a slightly wilder female, but which is kind of trying to have it both ways, a serious stable seeming relationship with the benefit of seeming edgy and cool as well....
