Silly question, but I'm curious. :P Putting aside everyone's gripes with the hair itself, what are your favorite horn styles for qunari Inquisitors? The upswept kind, ones that curl like a ram's... gilded, broken, no horns at all?

I'm wondering if there's an especially common horn configuration in qunari communities, like how most humans IRL have brown eyes, with really unique horns like the Iron Bull's or the Arishok's being the equivalent of grey or violet eyes - uncommon but not unheard of. Come to think of it, are "unusual" horns more or less common than being hornless..?

I like the curled ones with the steel plating for the ladies. They look quite spiffy and give the sense that the lady loves and takes care of her horns. And I'm fond of the mohawk and would love it if the other races got it as well. :)

The long ones that lay back, like smaller version of the Arishok ones are also nice. They look like little seats, perfect for carrying your dwarven/elven paramour. But I mostly prefer the plated horns for the ladies.

Spoiler

For the guys I really like the V ones that go straight into the air, but I can never make a fitting face for it. (But always approve seeing them on other Qunari). Otherwise I seem to gravitate towards the curled ones, as they remind me of mountain goats and Goatquizitor sounds like a pretty swell fellow.

(I have no good Goatquizitor pictures :C)

And generally I prefer the horned look, since I'd figure Adaar mostly works for humans and they would find horned oxmen far more scary than the hornless ones. And well, you don't get many chances to play a horned character. (Atleast in the games I play.)

As for horn configurations, I could see different professions having similar horns and that horn shapes would be counted for when it came to breeding. So warriors might have bigger, stronger horns which could serve as weapons in a pinch, while a scout might have smaller, less view obscuring horns.

The ones that are large and sheathed on metal, I don't remember the number

Edit: Speaking of Qunari hornes, do we know if they are part of their skull or are some kind of hard hair like on rhinos?

I prefer the broken a-symetrical horns, it looks like you've really seen some action and are more down to earth than the flashy ones.

Come to think of it, it would be nice to start out with a plain set, then, when you're named Inquisitor, go to the Emporium and get them pimped out in steel or whatever to signify your new status.

For female Inq, the first preset's set. Those horns seem longer and I'm not a big fan of the metal accessories.

For male Inqs, the ram horns. The other sets make your character look even more like a humanoid cow.

It is said that cutting off those horns doesn't hurt because there are no nerves. Maybe it is more like a rhino's.

I love it. Adaar's so taking Sera and Harding for joyrides next time.

I always liked the idea of wearing horn decor to Halamshiral.

I always go with the near hornless look.

And she looks even better with a mod that adds bangs to this particular hair style!

I really like the gilded horns, but I usually pick horns based on the hairstyle that comes with it :P Also, I prefer the skin complexion that makes the horns look like they really come out of the head instead of just being glued on.
