Something that we can't complain about is food (if you can afford it...). Everything else might be walking on a plank right now but the food, friend...the food will set you free!!

Live in the Southern United States now, but I was born over in Norway, a place where you have a heavy influx of fish dishes, we have other things such as meats, grains and what have you but given our commercial fishing is a expensive industry, a lot of what you see on sell in markets and such most of the year is fish related. All of our national dishes are fish related as well...

Enjoy your sweet tea and fatty beard eaters!

We'll probably never hear anything about the Raloi again. Like the Yahg, I imagine they probably get left behind.

Even if the series returned to the Milky Way at some point I doubt we'll ever see the Raloi.

Second and third from the right look good battered, deep fried, and served with honey sauce, chilli and shallots.

I need to have breakfast.

Technically not part of the Galactic community. By the time the Reapers showed up, they destroyed all of their satellites and spacecraft in order to hide. No word on whether or not they survived the Reaper invasion. No one would even know. The Raloi severed all contact. If the spaceship we command in Andromeda set off during the events of the trilogy, there is little to no chance a member made it into the crew.

The point at which they severed contact was while they were learning about becoming a part of the galactic community. They had representatives on the Citadel learning everything there was to know about eezo-related technology and galactic law. The only reason they weren't fully integrated was because of the fact that the Reapers showed up. And, according to BioWare, ME:A is set a while after the events of ME3. "Long after," I believe was the phrase they used. So I'm hopeful. :)

They sounded like a bunch of space hicks anyway.

I really hope we do. Although, I suppose it really isn't the end of the world if we don't.

Hopefully the cowards perished on their pathetic rock. They don't deserve a spot on the ark ship.

Woldn't they be a perfect fit then, considering that the ark and those aboard it can be considered an act of cowardice as well?

I always thought they were a more intellectual and philosophical race with little military culture. Perhaps they were the brains behind the ark! it's an interesting theory, at least ^^

I always imagined them being a peace-loving race that values nature, with their home planet somewhat resembling Sur'Kesh. Not sure why.

I'm hoping they survived, but I also think from a lore perspective they wouldn't rate places on the Ark. They opted to run and hide, prepared to abandon the other species to their fates. Space on the Ark would be limited, and I can't imagine the Council deciding to rescue a collection of gutless backstabbing wretches at the expense of not rescuing more from species who did fight the Reapers.

I don't know, and I'm not trypophobic, but the one in the middle makes me very uneasy. Makes me think of epidermodysplasia verruciformis or even advanced cases of syphillis... not seafood at all...
