We'll probably never hear anything about the Raloi again. Like the Yahg, I imagine they probably get left behind.

Even if the series returned to the Milky Way at some point I doubt we'll ever see the Raloi.

Yup.  Gotta run away from the setting in order to save the setting.

Hopefully the cowards perished on their pathetic rock. They don't deserve a spot on the ark ship.

Hopefully for most species in the Milk Way their merit in the fight against the Reapers shouldn't be the deciding factor in joying the ark (urgh!). Because if it was, then it would be humans, Turians, Krogans and maybe the Salarians.

More like the writers tried to create a stereotype for every alien race, and cared very little if it makes sense or not.

The idea that the every alien race embodies a specific human trait or mind-set (or more than one, but still limited to a few),
is incredibly arrogant and foolish, and flows from the same logic of the "Humans are Special" trope.

(the real reason is laziness to actually invent a truly unique and interesting culture)

Asari can't be good soldiers because "every asari maiden" is busy being a stripper or a merc. Right.
The "Destiny Ascension" is the biggest baddest ship in Citadel territory, and it belongs to the Asari,
I imagine that the crew is composed of trained soldiers, not trained strippers.

Asari Commandos are also on a different threat level than the poor vanilla alliance soldier with an avenger mark one.

Salarians can't be good soldiers because they look like pushovers and like to sneak around?
Flash news: Technology goes a long way in this regard. Cybernetic enhancements, power armor, mechs, robots, etc.
They might be the best spies in the galaxy, but that shouldn't make them lesser soldiers.

The point is, no one did particularly well against the Reapers, because the level of technology and number of ships was simply not high enough to counter them, no matter how crafty, tough, or strong with the "powah of friendship" you are.

Everyone sucked, even the Turians and the Krogan. The petty guerrilla war they waged from that moon was largely ineffectual and more about pride than anything else.

Uh? They never looked pink to me, always that same crappy tone of blue. Maybe the graphics card on your computer is going wonky.

Oh, I get it.

Purple, Pink, whatever-why bring that up here? The ineptitude of Asari has scarce little to do with Gundam.

That was one of the dumbest lines uttered by Shepard in the entire series.

The Asari, besides actually having more battlefield success against the Reapers than the Alliance had at that point, had fought in both the Krogan Rebellions and the Rachni Wars. Shepard questioning whether the Asari ever won a war just makes him/her sound like a dope who never opened up a history textbook. There are also two campaigns of the Krogan Rebellion involving the Asari that are mentioned in the games, and both ended with the Asari winning decisive victories against the Krogan.

Shepard just got lucky that Traynor's Asari opponent wasn't smart enough to call him or her on it.

Spoiler

Because everyone was about equally inept when it came to the Reapers, so I figured that it's more about personal dislike for them.

The supposed Asari handicap on the battlefield, is more about an inept writer including it artificially so we can have a neat little council where every race has a job that they are supposed to be the best at, while being bad at everything else.

Ditto for the Salarians.

Things just don't work like this in the real world, alliances are good and well, but you need your own soldiers at the end of the day.

I'd disagree, given the Asari don't actively contribute to any fight post Krogan Rebellion, which occurred roughly when Humanity was making gunpowder into its first battlefield applications.

And Humanity in its first entrance to the galactic stage won a interplanetary war against the Turians...plus all of the glorious acts of humans killing each other over pointless and overly trivial things since the dawn of the species, I'd say compare Human history to Asari history and humanity comes out ahead on the terms of time spent at war.

._. So sure, they have been 'advanced' longer but that doesn't matter when their cultural revolves around cooperation and diplomacy. It speaks ill for battlefield prowess.

Shepard doesn't question whether the Asari won a recent war. He/she questions whether the Asari ever won a war.

That does make him/her sound stupid, though perhaps it was perfectly in character for a Shepard who also questions whether the Asari can produce offspring with each other, or needs to ask, "What's a Prothean?"
