Long time lurker on the forums and ex console player and just started on PC over Christmas

 

A couple of things, one, would anyone be willing to help me crack out some silver games over the next few days to help pad out the common and uncommon sections of my inventory.  I work night shifts but have the 27th and 28th off, so I am going to be on from about 1600 GMT.  Any and all help would be great, no mic though but will follow orders.

 

And two, is there a mod for PC that separates the run and cover functions - or is it just a case of 'Biower pls'?

You have to mod coalesced.bin's BioInput file to split your keys up.

You can make your own BioInput.xml file and have mod manager inject it into mods for you.

They do but one was raised by gnomes I think it was, turned out...funny - it was in 'I shall wear Midnight' if I remember correctly.

I m trying to drag my nephew into this, maybe it s not very kind ...

So i m playing a bit of bronze with him atm, not sure if i should make him jump to silver right now. He allready take deaths badly .

Anyway, u can add me and we could have some runs on either difficulties.

And we could also make some space magic happen

 

On the keybinding thing, i was pretty sure that u cant really unbind run and take cover... I ll sure appreciate if there was a solution... IIRC, even if unbound, u still stick to cover as usual ?

As a current member of L2P/GetGud/MaxFitnessville, my advice is to listen to all the old pros, especially everyone on the Plat/Gold solo run lists. Also, look at all of my posts and never do anything I have done, except for using the Revenant, which should be locked into a weapon slot like Boo the Space Hamster.

 

The MP Resource Guide really is extremely helpful and if I would listen to it more I probably wouldn't spend so much time face down surrounded by Pyros. I think the easiest guide to put into play is "On the Optimal Utilization of Missiles," since you can use the Cobra from day one and judicious missile use can make the difference between extracting and wiping. The only thing I could possibly add is to ragemissile all Dragoons on sight. Good luck! You can add me on PC if you want (Saikyo_McRyu), but this may be hazardous to your character's health as I am horrible, I mean I am the foremost practitioner of the Saikyo Arts.

Here's the best tip I ever found on BSN:

 

Get a mouse with a wheel and thumb button. Bind the "change weapon" to the thumb button. That makes switching weapons fast and easy. 

 

Then, bind the wheel as an alternative key to the "medigel" function. Use that one for reload cancel, which is one of the top skills to learn. When the weapon is reloaded, you'll see a burst of smoke or see the magazine bar turn red. Then flick the wheel to end the animation.

You can fire the claymore at one shot per second with this skill. 

 

Also, I've never been able to separate run and take cover, but I don't see any advantage to it.

So... what's your favourite Tolken movie out of the two Trilogies? And do you think Gandolf would approve of space magic? Should BioWare hire him for next Mass Effect? Or would the combined space magic of both Gandolf and BioWare melt BSN are we know it?
