Aesthetics V2 is mostly about building/world design, this topic is about the character design and the weapons of ME:A.

What would you guys like to see? A new art design with thick armor and big guns? or small arms that shoot micro rounds at the speed of light with paper thin armor with super strong shields? Here is some artwork captured in-game and art made by some artist and who love video-games.

I always enjoyed the posibility of wearing light armor (or something similar in aspect at least) and a hard hitting weapon (that's why i love my sniper rifle). I'll probably try to keep going with this tradition. As for models? mmm i haven't seen many designs yet but i'm expecting some fancy stuff from Frostbyte!
On a side note: dat armor in the first picture! Hopefuly, we'll be able to not wear helmets tho

I'm hoping the armor designs have a similar vibe as many of those we saw in the previous three games. I think the armor in the first three Mass Effect games looks much better than those in Halo, for example. So I'm cool with no radical changes.

I'd love to see something similar to the Ajax armor return, except reskinned so that it doesn't have Cerberus colors. Rolling

out DLC that included the Ajax armor, one of the better looking armor designs in ME3 IMO, only to give it a Cerberus color scheme and logo that both looked stupid and made zero sense from a lore perspective...was one of the more boneheaded decisions made by the development team.

Something similar to what the modding community did with the Ajax armor however, would be great:

This armor I can see one of the new races in the Andromeda galaxy wear if they are hopefully more advanced

I also wanna see the return of Tela Vasir's armor

Something similar to the Chemrail gun Matt Damon's character uses in Elysium:

Fast forward to 0:55 or so.

Spriits, that thing is glorious!

I want to see an option for heavier power armor, something for an hypothetical "heavy" class.

The logic for this type of armor is simple, it will allow a soldier to carry a large weapon, even something that is usually only used on a mount,

and also to be able to counter larger and more powerful aliens like krogan and yahg in a melee fight should the need arise,

without getting squished.

The job of the "heavy" on the battlefield is to draw attention to itself with his large profile and huge weapons, therefore protecting his squishier fellows, lay down cover fire as needed, and use heavy weapons to blow up every hostile in range.

(think the "heavy" class in XCOM, inside a power armor, with reduced movement speed.)

The combination of the ability to wield heavy weapons with the power armor,

can make for a fun and interesting playstyle that was not really explored before in ME.

This "Heavy" class can be either a unique subclass for the Soldier class, or a potential path for other tanky classes.

The N7 Destroyer's class is somewhat close to this idea, even if not exactly the same.

It seems strange to me that something so essential as a tank (both in MMOs and old RPGs) remains forgotten in the new era of RPGs...it adds SO much to the battles and the overall feel. I just don't get it..

Somewhat true, but not in all cases. There are still examples of tank classes out there.

Yeah..for example in Divinity:Original Sin you do have a tank...however, it's not a fundamental piece like it once was..at least, i don't get the same feeling

A bit cyberpunkish, but I want something like this for a casual outfit around the ship/city:

I just want boots, pants and a tank top. Simple, casual and showing the ink! i'm tired of dresses and official suits <_< (i'm not saying that your example is of any of those ^^)

I'm fine with current armor design. Though I think that full-face visors are good for explorers and scientists, so they won't get blind if armor's energy runs out, but for heavy combat armor they could use fully-armored helmets with multiple small cameras. Something like

Cool, where is this from?

I would have liked this in a less... flowery, more practical version.

I reaaalllly want the option of an N7 SLayer type class - using swords, biotics and light to medium armor.

But im not very hopeful that this will happen, not people seem to share this view with me :(

I'd love some more "casual" clothes, instead of just armor all the time, maybe even some armor/clothe crossovers like this sexy drell is wearing:

1563569-feron.jpg

Or Starlord from Guardians of the galaxy:

Star-Lord_Promo_Art_Decor_III.png

Armor design is the only thing I'd want to change, as I am not really into the mass effect armor, even though they are very realistic and believable. I absolutely love the weapons in mass effect as they are though. Some dynamic tweaking and weapon modding on the fly, like in crysis, would be awesome!
Most of this may sound too much for mass effect lovers, but I'd like to roleplay in mass effect, in a way, where I can just go into a shady spacebar and have a barfight instead of just choosing my next mission and proceding towards the inevitable end of the game! :P

Hell yeah!

This is what came to my mind, when I thought of a "tank" class, with big shield generators and a shield-charge ability, similar to the vanguards biotic charge. A tank class is kind of missing in the mass effect universe and would probably be interesting for a bunch of people:

With the new Jetpack and mako feature, you could even explore with that thing!

Oh, something else that caught my eye:

As long as I have the choice for light armor, I'll be just dandy. Always hated big, bulky armors. They look stupid.

Despite my dislike of Cerberus, I dig their armor especially the helmet. I'd wear it so hard after I finished filling away all of the logos and color identification.

I wouldn't consider that specific armor bulky, but I know what Velvet means. Have you played any of Blizzard's games?  :P

Always liked the Cerberus armor, it looks like a cross between light and heavy armor so I guess medium armor. Just remove the colors and I wouldn't mind having it.
