Im very low on iridium and im having terrible luck scanning planets looking for it. i have 100k+ everything else, only 1500 iridium, lol. Any planets any of you know of that have craploads of it?

50 k is the max on the 360 i dont see how you could have 100k. Either way. just get the scanner upgrade and just scan the planet for iridium. thats about it. i think the minerals on a planet are random.

around the planets where you do Zaeed's side quest you will find tons of Iridium at least I did hope that helps

Gregas in the Eagle Head nebula worked really well for me. If you haven't heavily probed that one yet, give it a shot.

Look up Mining, it has a list of planets high in Iridium and every other resource. The resources are NOT random, they're the same every time.

Or you go and find an asteroid belt since they usually have alot of irid.. oh wait.
Why can't I mine asteroids , they have ridiculously amounts of iridium then compared to planets ( at least earth . ) .
