Just returned to the game recently and I have to say it's been a while since any game caught my attention as much as me3mp did again - I am literally having a blast! But in dire need of new friends.. !!

Even tough the lack of player activity is noticeable it's still not as bad as I initially expected. Games are still played, but it seems that gold is the new silver these days. And I really, really want a few more active players on my friend list because right now nobody from my old buddies is not even logged in anymore and I'm longing to play together and chat about the game with someone. I'm not really after fast credit farm as I had maxed out the meta URs a while ago, it's just to have fun together, and less searching for matches. Also, as I describe below, I started developing my own mod that follows the vanilla game but I only add tweaks that are reasonable and refresh the vanilla experience and it's nothing too crazy.

My Origin ID: neocodex (EU) (link to my manifest)

So as I mentioned, what really caught my attention is the ability to mod the game now, which turns around things completely. I spent a few days tweaking a few things that I thought need a change (and bsn generally agreed upon and pleaded to bioware but updates stopped coming) and that feels extremely satisfying - within reason, I am strongly against making the game too easy; I want more challenge but not in a frustrating way that this game sometimes can be in its vanilla state.

I have to give credit and my eternal gratitude to FemShep first for making this possible; her work is absolutely amazing, so thank you FemShep! I am enjoying your work immensely. It's pretty much a dream come true.

With that, I am seeking new friends to play together on plat and gold with the tweaks I applied to the game, which makes it slightly more challenging, fresh and fun. It's nothing too crazy, but it is refreshing and new enough that makes it a lot of fun to experience a new dynamic while changing a few frustrating and annoying things that probably made you stop playing the game a while ago. The point of this is to make it interesting again. Gold is a little more harder now, while for platinum I made a few "nightmare mode" challenges that will take good skill and teamwork to beat. But overall, the game has not changed from vanilla a lot. I've been mostly staying close to it, it's just a few spices here and there, but we can go further from here.

If you are looking just for a fast credit farming runs on plat, than this might not be for you. I am doing this for fun and challenge, and don't mind longer games that bring something completely new to the me3mp experience. So if this is something you might want to try or you're already used to playing modded games, than please feel welcome and add me on Origin to hit up a few games.

The fun part of this is the surprise of the new enemy compositions and their slight changes on how they act. If you're still reading this and you see this as a turn off, let me just mention a few basic changes that I play with, because I've seen some really crazy mods that change the game too much, so here's a short summary on my reasonable additions to the me3mp - I still want the game to remain close to vanilla as much as possible, but just building upon what was not viable till now and actually make it decent while refreshing the spawning compositions to make battles feel different:

Spoiler

Hope to see you in the game!

Edit: just noticed I missed the put your origin ID here thread. Well. Now this thread feels a bit pointless. I just hope someone will read this and maybe like my ideas and add me so we can play around with the mod.

You should get your Best of the Best banner first so everyone thinks you're cool, then people will flock to your greatness

After so much time spent it's still something that almost haunts me when I go to sleep. It's like 95% done. Too lazy to finish last few challenges - whenever I go to play I get distracted with other things, like being more efficient to help my team and not grind my **** weapon for the banner. If there's anything that i hate more is being a drawback for my friends with putting on them "sorry guys I'm grinding this weapon for botb banner you'll have to live trough it". Well **** that, honestly. Not that it proves anything but I have to agree the banner is cool and yes eventually I want it too. And I don't think I've ever seen a bad or even average player with BotB banner, so the credit is is due. I just didn't pay much attention to the challenges but it's still a goal.

Thank you! I would love to play them together. At this point I'm really happy to play with anyone that doesn't leave after one game because the waves were tougher or different . Just so many people are quitting my games without saying a thing lol. But I made a few friends that stayed and liked it at least. But I can't blame the people that leave tough, they probably just want to make some fast credits, while I made quite a challenge that's not something you would normaly expect and honestly I immensely enjoy the trolling this creates - but I give my absolute best to help and finish the game as long as they don't disconnect - that's very dissapointing. It's just the surprise factor that I love being part of.

The thing about buffs is they are global. But what we could do is add another difficulty that is above or different than platinum, and we could use bronze and silver as a placeholder since nobody ever plays that (mods locked on host), and if we make a private game - sure we can do a special game using bronze settings for some insane (or just fun) changes. Everything in bronze or silver can be adjusted to be different or harder than gold or platinum.

Well, I often leave even if the game was really fun... because I might not have time for another one or because I want to switch kits and don't like to make people wait (some ready up immediately after a game ends and I will not be rushed) or maybe the game was laggy for me.

You should shoot for about 25 enemies on the field at once,if you really want to spice it up.

Just played in several gold matches with neocodex and they were extremely fast for me with zero lag. The buffs to the Scummytar and melee damage were very helpful to my Kroldier and Asari Vanguard. Lots of fun and highly recommended.

Break

Was the Revenant buffed? Because reasons :D

There are plenty of bad to average players/pugs who wear that BotB banner, if you start puggin now you will see so many you might think Zuckerman sent them to you instead of $4.5m

For mob mods about 24-25 is the sweet spot as long as you mix ranged and melee enemies. More incurrs a significant perofrmance penalty and enemies cant aim.

For difficult mods I'd say about 12 or 13 with faster units and more gunfire.

Here's your mod synopsis
http://me3tweaks.com...maker/mods/1776

I've been watching you work for hours on Google analytics, heh.

Make sure you use the banshee mixins as they make her terrifying.

I don't know if adding a difficulty is doable since they have in-code classes defined which we can't do. (Difficulty dolevel4)

Your ragdoll mixins will make bosses pathetically easy to kill and drivable atlas will pretty much force clients to quit if they get in.

I'd you are going to run this on public you should always notify players beforehand. Some people simply don't want to play modded games.
