Contact " support.ea.com " and they'll walk you through the process (I've found it's easiest to just tell them that the disc is "damaged". This lets them quickly pull up the right instructions.)

Well this is happening to me too....
it was working fine until i downloaded and played the DLC.... the disc works well...but its annoying to keep running every time i wanna play...
If theres a solution to this problem that does not include having to use a crack of the game, i would like to hear it.
Ah... i installed the newset patch. 1.02 and nothing happens too.... the message keeps coming up.

I don't don't want to download an 11GB file, That's why I purchased the blooming disk. My question is simple, can I or can't I get the game to work with some nice simple instructions.... or should I just take the game back and get something else?

What is the exact error?
What are your PC specs?
What game version and distribution type is it?

There is no such thing as "Specs are up to date". There are several patches, which result in several versions, and there are quite a few different disk versions around the world. You could have an English (UK) version, an American version, & who knows how many more? I don't know. If you couldn't answer half of what was asked, ther internet and the search engines on it will tell you how to collect the rest, instead of offering just half of an answer.rieley wrote...
jteh same problem as everyone else. That the mesige "faild to awthenticate the disk. please insert the corect disk" my pc runs windows 7 and all the specs are up to date and its a hard copy disk. thank you for your help
If English is not your birth language, there are better translation programs than whatever mess you used. The spelling is really strange (and that's unnecessary with free spell checkers everywhere, including within most good browsers).

SInce you have a legitimate copy (registered game owner) you can download the digital version via EA's Origins service and never use your disc again.
Contact " support.ea.com " and they'll walk you through the process (I've found it's easiest to just tell them that the disc is "damaged". This lets them quickly pull up the right instructions.)
Screw that. I paid for the game and bought a DVD for a reason; if I am going to waste my bandwidth downloading a game it sure wont be from EA's servers. That this has not already been addressed simply underscores why there is piracy. Paying customers should not have to suffer to use their product legitimatly. EA can DIAF; they clearly dont care once they have their box sales off you.
