I can't believe people are typing up four-five paragraph essays on easily the most broken class in DAMP.

By most broken you meant the most awesome! ;)

If by broken you meant OP, then I think Saarebus has SS beat.   Without Saarebus zone wide barrier, I could never have survived more than a few seconds in heartbreaker.

Without promotions or Saarebas barrier bot, most classes would probably struggle in HB.

AW will be fine. SS will be fine. Lego will be fine. But besides those, everyone else would probably have a hard time without neither promotions or barrier.

Now that you mention it, I'm sad that pala never got barrier or fade shield since she already has all the most op abilities of each class that made them unique and identifiable.

They should have created an inquisitor for MP that would be unlocked once your completed the 250 matches challenges for all agents.   The inquisitor could pick any of the agent's look with unique armors, use any of the agent's weapon, pick any of the agent's ability tree to go down.  You still only have 20 points, but you could pick the starting abilities of multiple agents.   I think that would have been cool. :P

Belinda's look with a bow, spirit blade, chain lightning,  stealth, self barrier, throwing blades, elemental mines, charging bull, ..... and then if we could pick her voice too... "I have just the thing....."

So should one use 2x Crit Chance rings for this?

And what about grips for those daggers. What do you make?

Depends on your stats and weapons. If you have hok from your daggers already then yeah a crit chance ring is a good idea.

Also I would suggest to put on at least 1 ability ring if not 2, assuming you have at least half decent crit chance.

I usually put on throwing blades ring. The damage increase is more than noticeable. Also a small increase in your 'base' ability damage will translate into huge damage figures if you stack up your damage through throwing blades upgrade.

To be fair, it's not like you really need that much damage really... 10k per hit or 68k per hit doesn't make much of a difference in reality. But until you get used to insta killing high dragons, higher damage is always going to be a good idea.

I use the grip that has a ball looking end. :P  And I think every one else use the same grip.   I think mine has 5% crit chance (because my cunning is still low) and some % of attack.   I think other people with max cunning probably switch out crit chance for crit damage.

I tried 2x 10% crit chance rings, but I found that 2x 10% attack rings seems to work out better.  I am going to try throwing blade ring... didn't even think about that until JJ mentioned it.

Or spinning / hidden blade rings. Just depends on your personal preference. All of them work just as good.

This is correct, at least for the daggers that matter (1H) - it's the Ornate Dagger Grip, and it's so f*cking ugly, I can't bear to actually use it on any dagger. I make do with the Tier 2 grips. Aesthetics > function.

I put crit chance and/or cunning on upgrades. And a HoK + armor penetration ring.

Thanks for all the replies. Was lucky enough to run into someone ingame yesterday who gave me all the numbers to aim for and took me through my first nightmare while at it. Good times.
