Does anyone have any advice on how to get the Trespasser war table mission to show up? Some relevant info:

I am on PC.

I am using a post end-game save.

I am not using and have never used mods.

I have updated origin.

I installed the game.

I uninstalled and reinstalled origin and updated it.

I am no longer able to sign into the Dragon Age servers. It tells me unable to sign in, try again later, every time. It's been this way since I finished Descent in September. That was my last sign in. I can sign into Origin just fine.

Some probably irrelevant info:

I have wandered in and out of the war room countless times.

I spent half an hour running in a circle around the upper courtyard.

any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of that you don't have listed is to Repair the game.  Log into Origin and right click Inquisition, then select Repair Game.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply, drummerchick. I knew I forgot to add something to my list of "relevant info." I've done that twice, once before reinstalling Origin and once afterwards. There must be SOMETHING.

Do you have Windows 10? If so, make sure you do not have it set as a metered connection. I cannot log in if I set my connection to metered.

Make sure both Origin and DAI are allowed to connect to the internet by your firewall.

Well dang  :(   You're right, there's gotta be something more to this. Sorry, I don't have any other ideas; hope you find what works!

Good point about Windows 10; my wife recently updated the OS. I was wondering if that had anything to do with it but I figured letting Origin and DAI through the firewall was enough. I'll poke around the settings, thanks!

I appreciate your help regardless :)

Keep on drumming.

Was treaspasser installed before or after the Windows 10 upgrade? Have you repaired the game since that upgrade?

I didn't install the DLC until after the upgrade but, I did have to remove and reinstall the Black Emporium to get it working when I went to Windows 10. Might have to do that to get yours working. That upgrade did warn you (your wife in this case) that some programs may need to be reinstalled to work properly.

Umm. I believe Windows 10 was installed first. I'll try scrubbing and reinstalling DAI first. Tomorrow sometime.

I'm afraid I don't have any solutions to offer, but it might be useful to know if something is wrong with the Trespasser install in general, or just the war table trigger. Do you have the ability upgrade toggles? Are trials available?

Argh... I had this problem too the first time but I recall it was because I was not connected to the servers. I had logged off and forgot to reconnect and the war table mission did not appear until I logged in again.

Although it seems like you already tried everything to connect... that is quite weird D:

No, unfortunately. Nothing. I've also now tried the metered connection thing (it was off) and uninstalling/reinstalling DAI. It didn't work. Nothing has worked. I can't log in to the servers ("unavailable at this time") and the mission never shows up. I have no idea why not. So frustrating.

I appreciate everyone's help though.

Well I haven't played DAI for a couple of months, just started and had no problem signing in. No Windows 10 though, me not guinea pig.

I have had problems in other games where I have installed across PC user accnts (eg. Admin versus 'Name'). Just a thought, is your Origin id connected to, or was DAI originally installed to  another user account?

As far as I know, I only have the one account that I sign in with. This is just a PC I use for gaming and nothing else, once every few months these days, and I've had it since 2011 or so. I'll poke around and see. I'm dreading having to call customer service, assuming there is such a thing for the game.

The EA Game Advisors are the only ones who can do anything about accounts, authorizations, entitlements, purchases, refunds, etc.

You can reach them at help.ea.com/contact-us.

Provide the Game, Platform, Issue, Short Description, and select "Chat Now".

1. Be at your gaming rig.
2. Be logged-on to your EA/Origin account (unless that's the problem, obviously.)
3. Be able to spend 10-30 minutes "on hold" before reaching someone.

Good Luck!

if you can't log in in game then, that is the problem, you have to log in to authorize the DLC, it won't work until you do. If disabling your firewall and AV doesn't do it, contact a game advisor, or if they can't help, your ISP and try to figure out why you can't log in to the DAI servers.
