I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, so if it's not I apologize.
Anyways, I'm currently doing a playthrough of my game with a male Dalish elf. I was basically flirting with everyone at every chance I could until I got to Skyhold, and then I decided to commit to romancing Josephine. I got the scene where you officially 'start' a romance with her and everything, and got up to the point where I was going to do the quest where you find her family's shipping crest/manifest thingy.
However, around that time, I decided to switch from romancing Josephine to romancing Iron Bull. So I went to Josephine in Skyhold and broke up with her via the heartbroken dialogue option. Everything seemed just fine and dandy, and I went on about romancing Iron Bull.
So far, there haven't been any problems with Iron Bull's romance or anything - stuff is proceeding along fine and I'm getting all of the romance scenes like I'm supposed to.
However, I'm... also getting a few romance scenes or dialogue bits from Josephine's romance as well. For example, after having broken up with her and pursuing Iron Bull, the cutscene that's supposed to start Josephine's quest involving Lord Otranto played and she was talking like the romance was still going on. After the cutscene, when there's supposed to be a new War Table quest about Lord Otranto or something... there was no quest. So I literally got a romance cutscene for Josephine without the quest happening that's supposed to follow it.
Again, none of this has affected Iron Bull's romance and his romance scenes from playing out.
Then, during the Wicked Grace game with all of the characters in the tavern, at the end of the game, Josephine called my Inquisiter 'her love'. Again, like the Josephine romance was STILL going on.
Has anyone had any similar problems with this? Where you break up with a character to pursue someone else... but the person you broke up with still has some romance scenes and dialogue triggering now and then?
I'm kinda worried about this messing up my Iron Bull romance in the future of this playthrough...
