Thanks to TheLambofDeth, here is a solution.

Here's what happend to me and how I was able to fix it.



I registered on EA/Bioware's site with my current email and
redeemed all of my codes. I was unable to link my Gamertag to my new
account because I already linked it to an email I don't have anymore.



It looked like I just screwed my self out of all my DLC. But there's a way to get around it!



Create a new Live account (Silver is fine) and when you login use
the EA account you redeemed your DLC with. You can use DLC on any
profile so just dl and then use your normal profile.



I see a lot of others the same problem I did so I hope this helps.



1. Create a new gamertag

2. Link it to the EA account that has the DLC

3. Log into the new gamertag and download everything

4. Sign out of the gamertag

5. Sign into our original gamertag

6. Load up ME2 where all the DLC should be

Too bad we can't count on EA or BioWare's sh*tty service to help us.

Having a problem with this one- have two silvers up one with the pre order DA Armour set - second with the rest of the DLC for MA2, on 2 separate emails registered to EA. EA please let all DLC work on the system it's DL'ed to! Not account biased!

Sorry, we can't find information about that Xbox LIVE Gamertag.



Before you can link your Xbox LIVE Gamertag to your EA Master Account, you need to log in to any online EA game with your Xbox or Xbox 360. Once that is done, check your email inbox at the address you used to sign up for your Xbox LIVE Gamertag for an email from us describing what you need to do to link up your accounts.



Keep in mind, this email may not appear immediately, so be patient. Note, you can always come back to this page to re-trigger the email in case you missed it.







Oh well... It was worth a shot...I'm probably just going to return it and get the standard edition.

Yes, you must boot up ME2 and register it with the account you accidentally activated the codes on.

This DOES work, I tested it with both my friend and myself - we both got our Collector weapon/armour and the preorder stuff we'd been trying to get. This method takes about ten minutes, EA support takes two hours. Take your pick.

I'd like it if somebody else would confirm that this would work (does posting "I love you" mean it worked?).

You'd think (or at least, I DO think) that if you download something with one Gamertag, that Gamertag is the permanent owner.

I Love you man!! Thanks!! I also had the same problem with the old and new EA account, the old one was linked with my new gamertag. Anyways, i now FINALLY can use my Collector's armour & rifle, wich i PAID for!
