Hehe, I know what you mean
I'll drop you a friend request, if you don't mind
Sure everyone is welcome to add me on Steam, its kind of embarrassing that I have way more friends on Origin than on Steam. But I hope to change all that in 2016.

Same here, only have like 4 friends on Steam. Anyone from ME3MP is free to add me, it's salinfmr same as Origin but without the caps
Adept gets Adredaline as BE don't benefit much from Power Amps (correct me if I'm wrong)
Drellgod gets Power Amp because not only does BC limit the utility of AM but also because he isn't a master exploder as all explosions with him depend on teammates and ammo.
Drassassin gets Power Amp as well due to the extreme damage RM + HG does with cloak. Armor becomes nothing.
But those power amp 4 and pistol/smg with power mod made his Cluster grenades and Reave stacking, 'obscene'. Vanguard has BC. So Power amp trumps there too. It was much more effective for me.
The only Drell I'm even using is the Assassin and he's the only kit I'm using AM3 on. Although I should mention that he's got 6 fitness: http://kalence.drupa...13E57314!B3EAGS
It's the perfect kit to train headshots because if you miss too often, you die. ^^

This is a classic topic, and a funny one, because everyone plays their Drell differently.
On the Vanguard, I can see how objectively Cyclonics makes sense (more shields = more being restored with Biotic Charge), but I have always played the Drell Vanguard with Adrenaline. Because I like to Charge in, throw Grenades, and run away before the enemies can target me (if they're still alive that is).
To each their own, I guess!
Poweramp for the Adept, Power efficiency module for the DrellGod because I like to pack a heavy weapon and want to be able to charge as often as possible to reload shields and reach a new group of enemies victims fast.
I don't run AM's on my Drell usually, b/c it's awkward enough to find running lanes on the PS3 without having to start/stop constantly. I do spec into Speed on all of them, which is usually enough to get me there first anyway.
I like Power Amps on the Drelldept, which is my most-played Drell. Who needs to drop aggro when entire spawns are dead in seconds?

Having said that, I do have plenty of love for the DAI, and will have plenty as well once I unlock the Drellgod, which, as fate would have it, is the last character I have to unlock in my manifest

Very odd choice by BioWare at the auto camera turn speed while running on console. Especially when it's twice as fast on PC when playing with a gamepad controller (still could be faster). ... Then again, lots of other odd choices by BioWare in ME3mp. BioWare needs to stop loving it's players fans so much.
On smaller maps like Glacier, power amp is a better choice.
Vanguard is probably the only drell where I always pick AM III (partly because he gets exposed to enemy fire the most, and partly because I don't take the 6b speed bonus in fitness).
I also pick AM for the Drell Assassin unless I'm soloing, in which case I pick Power Amp. (Though, I pick AM for solos on larger maps like London, Vancouver, etc).
Adept - I alternate between the two a lot, mainly depending on the weapon I'm using.
Reported.
even for 6a ?

Except for the fact that Drell have only 250 base barriers/shields, so Cyclonics, even at level III and IV, are all but wasted on them (just like Vorcha).
Yeah not much difference between 450 and 825 barriers/shields, in the sense that you're still getting shield-gated by pretty much everything either way (at least on Gold or Plat). If you're worried about staying alive with Drell, AM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CM.

I just played the Drell Guard and I totally lost the confidence of the pugs back in the lobby after mission failure. Oh well.

The key I have is to never have confidence in pugs. They are there for drawing fire with their face :3
AM is great for the Drellguard, no doubt. But on host it's the platinum mooks that drops me the most, the CM IV seems to do some difference when under fire from a Maruder with their platinum Phaeston 3000 etc.
I guess, but I wonder how much this difference isn't psychogical- the 375 extra you get from the CM IV is enough to withstand slightly less than half a burst from a lone platinum marauder (at least according to the Google docs). I suppose their DR factors into it a bit, but in general the shield/barrier totals you're working with are pretty minuscule, so Cyclonics just don't give you much bang for your buck, and you're going to be better off (i.e. surviving) with Adrenaline in about 99 out of 100 situations.

You spoke half the truth, vorcha!
PA >> AM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CM
I wonder if your shield gate gives a crap about disdain...I've offered up my disdain for the supposed 990 magic number in the past. The fact of the matter is that Cyclonic IV does make a difference even on Drell and Volus.
That said... I still prefer Adrenaline on the Drell Vanguard.

Nah, I was a bad pug too. Some kits need more specific setups. ie. Should of used a priming ammo and something one shot like a Claymore. Why my consumables and weapons usually dictate what character kits I play as.
I'm never too concerned with mission failures either. Better to live a little, if you know what I mean.

Volus have twice the base shields/barriers that Drell or Vorcha do. And sure, a CM IV always makes a difference- but if its on a Drell or a Vorcha, and the difficulty is Plat (or even Gold), then the difference is pretty negligible.
