Like, in terms of Andruil (or whatever) Theory.

 

Seems things are super personal and pride and raisins. Pride Solas? Raisins.. I dunno, some figure we haven't seen yet?

I'm saying vague stuff, but I'm just glad she wants to make better cookies and remembers the way of the hunt .

 

Sorry to those who don't believe the theory at all, but I was just watching this scene and something.. grabbed me. Like the story she's telling is not the REAL story she's telling. That she's struggling to have the chance to say more but doesn't even realize it.

WHAT do Sera's comments about cookies have ANYTHING to do with the "Sera is Andruil" theory?

 

She hates cookies because she holds a grudge against her foster mother for lying about where the delicious cookies she gave her came from. (Oh no, what an evil cow.) On some level she knows it's ridiculous and feels embarrassed about it--hence why she's so vague and fidgety--but she wants someone to validate her feeling instead of maturing and moving beyond them. That's it. End of story.

Bzzt. Incorrect. She holds a grudge against her foster mother not because she lied about the provenance of the cookies, but for saying that the baker hated elves to make sure she never found out. She hates that Lady Emmald used false stories of anti-elf prejudice to make her hate a good man for no reason other than her own vanity.

 

I'm with you that it has nothing to do with Andruil theory, though.

Yes, stuff like that!!! You get it. That its not raisins, but dark evil eyes. Or something.

 

 

Anyway, about Andruil Theory - Sera is Sera. That's the point. She'll be Sera. She is Sera. She has been Sera. She is rejection of 'elfy' elfiness. Even if 'Andruil' is involved, Sera is more likely to reject it (even if softly) than go "HEY I'M REALLY FEN'H-ANDRUIL!" Why change the past when you can own this day?

Don't get me wrong.. I don't hate raisins.  White raisins are an unexpected joy in a salad.   But not in my cookies, yo!
