I also forgot that any game with a SJW or feminist theme won't sell to begin with. And if you ruin the series further, people will only play the previous games. For example, the latest Syndicate game is a POS and now the series is dead. However, the original devs that worked on the original Syndicate game made a REAL reboot under a different name.

 

As for SJW or feminist themes in games or even other forms of media, we all know the newest Ghostbusters won't sell, thus the series is kinda of dead at this point until some competent director makes a real reboot like the original devs did with their real reboot for Syndicate.

 

A film which hasn't come out yet and a bad reboot to something from a different genre are hardly compelling examples.

Especially because many Hollywoodians are supporting Planned Parenthood even AFTER knowing it's selling baby organs.

Yet that same director directed the successful Bridesmaids and other funny comedies and Ghostbusters is an anticipated movie for next year. Not to mention a good cast and funny actors. This thread is confusing.

Sometimes you've got to separate the art from the artist. There are writers, painters, singers and more that I love that have political and/or social views different from my own. Some of them frankly weren't very nice people in their personal lives, but it didn't stop me from enjoying what they created.

I have found some limits though, so I can't come down on the OP too hard. I disagree with the OP's opinions completely, but I do respect their point of view. If someone is worried that the division line will become too blurred, that the art and the artist's views will be the same, then they are doing the right thing for themselves and avoiding the product. Researching the game and the team behind it is a smart move.

Still, I feel there is some overreaction in the thread. As was pointed out earlier: He's one man in a team of 800+, and I don't think he's that high on the food chain to begin with. I would try not to stress it. Besides, this is ME we're talking about here. I'm more worried about bugs, contrived setups (like the SM "take the shuttle" excuse from ME2) and DLC problems in the six BioWare games I have played in recent memory rearing it's ugly head in ME:A.*

_{I've have a lot of issues getting DLC to work in all three ME games and all of the DA games so far. Screw personal politics, that makes me leery of buying a BioWare game new.}
