I find it funny that you whine about an "offensive tweet" that is clearly humorous in nature (and I say that as a White man), yet accuse Bioware of Political Correctness.  Goes to show you that people like you that oppose Political Correctness believe that you should be allowed to bash minorities and make racist/sexist/xenophobic/homophobic statements, but the minute an individual from one of these groups calls you out and criticizes or jokes about you and your beliefs, it's offensive.

Get the heck out of here.  I'm fine with having a civil dialogue, but go somewhere else troll.

I think you answered your own question.

A blight, a racist AND a gay space rock?

Don't know about blight, but I'm definitely not racist OR a space rock. Gay? Eff yah! And damn proud of it.

I'm offensive and I find this thread a minority.

This is why people tell you to never meet your heroes. Did you know Bill Cosby was one of my role models growing up? One of the few colored folk that I thought I could look up to. Yeah. Does it really change anything? Can you like a form of entertainment even if some of the people are PC BRO's. If you put your petty trivial annoyance's aside. Yeah.

This PC thing is a fad, and HOPEFULLY. Will die within a few years.

I think BioWare should do something about that. They can't force him to change his views, but they can get him to stop publishing them. People have been sacked for less because of things they put on social media.

Not really the employers business what an employee, who isn't a company 'face', says as a private person so long as it isn't being said in a professional capacity or as a reprisentative of the company (real or implied).

When you work for a company, you ought to be careful of what you say on social media. Remember that guy who was the head of an indie company who threatened to kill Gabe Newel on Twitter? Well, he resigned and Gabe kicked him out of Steam and deleted his game off Steam.

Anything wrong you say on Social Media, and there should be consequences. I think there should be consequences to Manveer's actions. Even his 2014 panel about wanting more "diverse characters" in video games feels SJW-like. I think he's a liability to the company. Give that some thought?

Really, social-justice is a bad thing? You don't see any irony in that?

Does Manveer know that term White Tears / Male Tears is an euphemism for semen ? I guess everyone has their fetishes, whatever makes you happy, Manveer. I hope you add some seasoning to spice the taste up when you drink it. Something spicy like tobasco sauce or wasabi would be my recommendation.

On a more serious note, if the OP does not want to buy the game because a racist buffoon, then that is his/her choice.

Personally, I think Bioware should do something. They are a company that claims to be pro-diversity and pro-representation yet here we have one of their employees using a social media platform to make racist statements.

Let's be frank here. If Manveer here was a white man and he was making racist statements against brown people or black people, this would have blown up and Bioware would have fired him.

The least Bioware can do is give him a nice little chat about how it is not a good idea to be racist, especially against a group that is rather numerous where he lives.

So somebody working at bioware is a dick. So? Probably still gonna buy the game if it's good. If I refused to buy things because one person who works there is an ******* I would play far less games.

Your post is acting just like the psycho SJW's who call for people to get fired or companies to get shut down for supporting gamergate. Stop it. You just look insane and any good point you make get's thrown out the window.

It's popular to hate on white people though, unfortunately. Especially males. Especially if you're white and male yourself, and you hate yourself. lol.

No one will get fired for it.

And yet, it still happens. People don't get the job because they posted something that was homophobic. Or, they miss out on a promotion because they lied and said they were sick, but photos state otherwise. It happens all the time. If he were to get sacked, or at least punished for it, it would be his own fault.

Social justice is just a label that certain interest groups took to themselves. Whether it has anything to do with actual justice changes from case to case.

The art and the artist aren't always the same thing, and should be seperated unless the art is being used as a platform to espouse the views you disagree with. I despise Tim Schafer, and could write an essay on why he's such a terrible human being. I still love Psychonauts, Grim Fandango and Brütal Legend, as they are some of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had. It pains me to put more money in his pocket, but his games are just so darn good.

I'm just gonna reject Schafer personally.

Yeah, i'm certainly not helping with the crowdfunding of Psychonauts 2 as that thing looks more and more like a heist job every day. Totally shady. What with Tim and Double Fine being on the board of advisers of FIG, the site they're using for the crowdfunding, to continually pushing the end date back as the project recieves more money. To Tim asking Notch for $18 million to help fund the game, but now is only asking for a little over 3 million. Given Schafer's past reputation, this has red flags all over it.

Tbh this entire thread left me with a question.

Had Manveer been a white person and had he done that photo with a cup written "Black tears" or "Liberal tears" would the reaction have been the same? Would the people calling OP a troll been defending the right of this Manveer to joke and express his opinion freely too? Most importantly would BW be silent about this Manveer too.

If the answers to these questions are NO then you can see the hypocrisy of it.

Also don't bother finding excuses to justify said hypocrisy it's really pointless.

Yup I know. It's interesting how sjw advocate equality but then when they happen to be jerks the reactions and the social condemnation aren't exactly equal.

Equality of rights come with equality of responsabilities

They're always quick to blow smoke over the "problematic" views held by some of their own, if not outright defend them. Look up Sarah Nyberg, as an example.

The white tears comment is in poor taste assuming it's about white people tears like the context implies and not just that he likes drinking semen cuz I mean let your freak flag fly.

I... don't really know what to say about the whole Trududdude thing other than I found it humorous.

That's not only thing OP is claiming. He's awfully interested about Canadian politics and who Manveer has been voting like that would matter to Bioware and seems to be against "SJW's, feminism and political correctness". He even said  that Bioware should stop Manveer for taking part in panels like Diverse games? Either he really has no idea about Bioware's games and them as company- thinking that the company would really fire someone being liberal, "SJW", feminist or "politically correct"- or he is troll. And it seems much more likely that this person is a troll.
