Are they overcharging?

I can't answer. There is no standard price for organs removed from dismembered babies.

I watched an episode of The Good Wife where I heard it was $100 bucks. I think, for packaging and delivery. To labs that use it to help babies who actually exist. Wasn't there a court ruling recently that found PP innocent of any wrong doing anyway?

The white tears comment is in poor taste assuming it's about white people tears like the context implies and not just that he likes drinking semen cuz I mean let your freak flag fly.

I... don't really know what to say about the whole Trududdude thing other than I found it humorous.

Looking at some of the guy's other tweets, I seriously doubt he means semen. Lots of posts deriding "the white man".

I wonder how long he would last if he started making sexist comments on his twitter, not much I bet. Apparently being racist against whites is perfectly fine.

But it's ok. This guy just probably feels sub par because he wasn't born white, now he must work under white bosses, live in a country ruled by white people, abide to their rules. So what can he do about it? Not much, being sad and salty on his twitter is all he can do.

Then it should be addressed, I've never understood the mentality that makes it okay to repeat something objectionable just because you've been subjected to it. Pay forward the good stuff not the shitty stuff, you don't create equality by reversing the issues in society.

Yes, exactly this. Another dev last year complained about 'toxic BSN' and yet was also reposting hate towards white people on his twitter account. Their idea of 'toxic' seems to extend to 'stuff I don't agree with'.

@OP as others have noted, the SJW movement blames every bad thing that ever happens on 'white men'. Apparently we have 'power' and 'privilege' and so are fair targets.  It's absurd. They even redefine words like racism and sexism to only apply to white men, so they don't have to feel like the bigots they are.

I've mentioned this multiple times in the past and taken a lot of heat for it. A great deal of it appears to be projection. These people are so prejudiced and intolerant and bigoted, so they create this bogeyman oppressor class, these "straight white men" who they paint as everything they themselves are. As though it not only excuses their own attitudes and behaviours, but makes them a good thing, progressive even. As they are doing all of this to take down the bad guys, and bring about equality, even though they're doing nothing of the sort.

You know, wouldn't it be fun if someone posted a picture while drinking from a cup with a transcript "Black Tears" ohhh the backlash and despise that person would receive, but i guess if it says "White Tears" its ok because you know dem evil white people.

I personally don't really care what he says on Twitter i'm going to buy the game and if i don't it won't change anything.

There is different definitions of racism, popular one seems to currently be that only majority can be racist towards minority and you often see racism against white people (of any ethnicity) dismissed with: "reverse racism doesn't exist", but then who has decided that this is currently the right definition to use and fits to every context

Though idk I find this being quite off-topic in discussion that should be about ME:A ^^;

Reverse racism actually doesn't exist though. Racism is racism. "Reverse racism" is itself a racist term as it assumes racism is something white people are/inflict on others.

So you're complaining about someone not being politically correct and yet you keep going on about how much you dislike SJWs and feminists?

No, that definition is absurd. So, if a Chinese person in NA says Indians are a group of sub humans, that isn't racism because no white people were involved?

But yes this is off topic.

Yeah I got blocked by this Manveer guy on twitter because I didn't agree with his opinion of Christians being a privileged class. I told him we have the same problems as everyone else. His response was to drop the F bomb on me and block me.

So what. I'm not going to deprive myself of a potentially great game because of one bigot.

And you are quite right but just as people are forced to endure a racist with a sectarian attitude, BioWare (and it's forums) will have to respond in kind. Alas, my laid back personality (in most cases) forces me to give the middle finger to the entire thing and move on but others might see a rightful reason to boycott  everything

The only thing I will say to OP is the apple tree does not ask what kind of person is, it gives apples to whoever wants one.

I have no idea how it works with minority against minority, though if we are going with races aren't they both same race though different nationality and ethnicity.

I'd personally just go racism is discrimination and hatred towards person of different race or ethnicity than you, but I don't think it's the current popular definition.

There's the actual definition, which is "Prejudice, discrimination or antagonism directed against someone of another race based on the belief that one's own race is superior."

Then there's the sociological definition, which is where you get talk about racism being power plus privilege. The premise is fine in and of itself, but the problem is it's often a cover to excuse people of their own bigotry, or worse, condone it. See Bahar Mustafa as an example.

I stopped reading after "I got 540 games on steam..."
All jokes aside, if you have a collection of so many games for whatever reason, you should not be the one to give advise on what and what not to buy, as you seem hard to please and can not be unprejudiced. I know what I'm talking about, I got 120 games on steam and sometimes I have to pull myself together and look twice to see the enjoyment of some games and their good spots. That's because, after playing so many games, you only see the weak things of the games and it gets harder and harder to enjoy them.

Yep that sounds right when put into fancy words.

I think that sociological definition (there is likely tons of others as well) does have good intentions, but how people have adapted it to use might not be best way, since it's sometimes seen as absolute truth about what racism is and that racism can't be anything else and I don't think how it's often used fits with all contexts. I also don't think being offensive or stereotyping white people is going to help anyone, it's kinda similar thing as with misandry that your example seem to be about with quick glimpse.

So... its basically:

'Dear Bioware, I haven't played any of the Mass Effect games, because despite the series starting seven years ago, i haven't had the time. Also I disapprove of your employee supporting the Canadian PM who just won in a landslide. Finally, sin of sins, he made tweets mocking the blatant, actual, racism that Trump has been using lately. This means he hates white people - as proved by use of a novelty mug. Get your house in order Bioware - or I shall continue not buying your game."

Well... at least it's not another 'What can Bioware learn from X' thread

Bahar Mustafa was (ironically) Goldsmith University's Student Welfare and Diversity Officer, who organised an event to promote equality. She then promptly banned white males from attending, or in other words, discriminated based on sex and race. It later came out that she was a frequent user of the #killallwhitemen hashtag on twitter which got her into a bit of trouble. Her response was to declare that racism and sexism are power plus privilege, and as a non-white woman, she is inherently unable to be sexist or racist.

That in a nutshell is the problem with the sociological definition of racism.

I wonder whose alt account this is. We may never find out though, sadly.

I suspect we do know the name - on every BW forums in the same day appeared a topic like that one. Really, who can it be.
