"Hey, wanna buy a random transaction for a random chance to get more random crap that you don't want?"

I never minded the store, I rarely spent real money in it (occasionally used up money left over from buying other DLC).  Plus the excitement of getting a new gun or kit was fun, now my manifest is maxed, the excitement of getting a Spectre pack that doesn't contain Explosive ammo or Stabilisation mods isn't quite the same.

The store is harmless and micro transactions don't give you anything you can't achieve easily by playing the game. So far that's good.

The problem is that the store continues to give you consumables even if you already have the maximum amount. If that could be fixed, then we'd stop getting Cryo ammo and other unwanted items. This fix would create another problem though: some packs give you lvl1/2 consumables and if you already had those maxed, then the pack would be empty... since upgrading to lvl3/4 would make the higher priced packs superfluous.

Exactly this, maybe the store could give us common/uncommon character cards in that case, at least then you can get something out of it if you are promoting.

This could have been remedied with something like "if consumable (at least a Rare one) maxed, then decrease the probability of its appearance in a newly-bought pack to 10% or less".

Never figured why anyone would spend money on something you could get from playing the game (and it would've annoyed me if I'd had to spend money to get it). I don't find the store that irritating to be honest, and it was always a nice surprise getting something I'd not got before I'd maxed the weapons, and since I have I don't seem to run out of anything either so all's good.

I'd prefer to get what I paid for, not to pay for the chance to get some random junk.

I think the store is the worst solution to a lot of problems, except for all the other solutions.

Yup.

I liked the concept just fine. Would've been better with a few tweaks but no major complaints from my end.

I didn't mind the store...it's just a bit tough when you are first starting out. Once you start building up some cash, you can start to gather some decent weapons/consumables.....I never paid for any of the packs tho since you can basically get stuff for free by just playing the game itself. I know some folks stated to support Bioware, but I did that when I purchased the game at full price (twice..my first game cracked).

And even if you choose to purchase from the store using cash, it's pretty cheap.....it's a grind, but the store ensures you play the game for a while.

I'm guessing anyone complaining about the ME3 store hasn't played DAIMP. It could've been much, much worse.

I can't figure out why they didn't keep the awesome system from the solo : in the solo you only pay tu upgrade the weapons that you want. I like the random for unlocking new stuff (for the first time) but it's a total pain in the a*s for weapon upgrades and consumables.
