Between your Warden/Hawke/Inquis what kind of personalities did they have and what other character would you relate them to?

My Warden was mostly:

-50% Diplomatic and 50% Aggressive

Since she was a little girl she'd always been a bookworm in the tower and was kind of the "straight A" student who excelled at everything. She's been accused multiple times of having no personality and was once compared to a shoe. She likes results and the moment she became a warden her passion for clean results was intensified. For the most part, she prefers to better her surroundings and can be kind and generous...however when she's on a mission there are only two results: Success or Failure. There is no in between with her.

Ironically she ended up being with Alistair most likely because his laid-back and humorous disposition complemented her straight edged and result-minded personality. He was kind of her "anchor" back into humanity.

I would compare Olivia Amell to Hermione Granger from HP

Damien Hawke:

50% Diplomatic 40% humorous 10%aggressive:

He's the natural "good guy" who tries to have an optimistic look on situations...no matter how disastrous they may appear. He's always tried to settle things without blood-shed because he believe's in the good of everyone. He's a goody-two-shoes and he knows it. Occasionally he'll hit a point where he might have to do something his heart knows is wrong but his mind knows it's the most "logical" option. Trust me, it hurts him to go through with those kinds of actions. He's always been the strong backbone of his family and the chief "funny smooth talker" that saves him and his sister from Templar persecution.

He ended up relating to Isabela because of her "lively" personality and their shared belief in freedom. Plus, the sexual innuendo jokes are never ending between those two.

He's definitely a "Phoebe" from friends

Kazrian the Inquisitor:

50% humorous 30%Aggression 20%diplomatic

He's always been a clown and it's always been an issue since he was in line to be the next keeper. Keeper Deshanna always reminded him to keep a serious composure when speaking to clan members to keep their respect but Kaz could never do it. He was highly gifted (much to the Keepers chagrin) but always loved to put a smile on his clans faces. That was his drive. Smiles all around.

However, Kazrian is also a moody and tends to have frequent mood swings; at one point he's calm, friendly and hilarious and then another he'll slit your throat if you cross him. As much as he enjoys being the center of attention and keeping spirits high, he has a rather odd disposition towards anger. At one point he can be willing to converse and making diplomatic agreements and another he'd rather just kill you and get you out of his way (his reasoning was always for the greater good). Keeper Deshanna always found that a tad disconcerting and wondered if despite all his gifts of magic he'd be a fit keeper. For the most part he'd been able to keep the respect of his clansmen thus far so she decided to ignore his minor instability.

He ended up with Dorian. Their joke cracking personalities meshed together and Dorian was able to keep his sudden bouts of blood lust in check.

(this one was pretty tricky because he has a very unique personality)

Warden Ertenion Surana: mage (spec: spirit healer, shapeshifter – in Awakening: keeper) neutral/caotic good, diplomatic/good, with some humour.

Romanced with Morrigan

100% friendship with all mates.

Thordal Hawke: mage (specialized: primal, force and blood) caotic/neutral good, sarcastic/charming 75%; diplomatic/good 24%; agressive/direct: 1% (with Fenris, because sometime he needs sturdiness).

Romanced with Fenris (100% friendship romance)

Strong (~100%) friendship whit all mates, except Merrill (he do not trust in Merrills competence – the blood magic do not purified anything).

Karl Teveylan: mage (specialized: necromancer) neutral good, merciful (except with Erimond), diplomatic/good with some humour.

Romanced with Cassandra (maybe rivalry)

Allies/friends: Solas, Cole, Blackwall, Varric, Dorian, Iron Bull

Rivals: Vivienne, Cassandra, Sera

Let's talk about my old pal Tidus that's been around since the mid 80s as a Elf in D&D and been in every RPG I own that I can change names.

Tidus is a good/bad guy and fully believes  in staying his blade if there is a way to end things  peacefully.. He won't kill without just cause nor will he kill his own kind unless the issue is forced..

Those that have wrong him, his family and friends  realizes their grave mistake when they look into the fiery hate filled eyes  of a stone cold killer like Vaughan,Howe and Loghain did just before they met their death..

---------------------------------------

Camine.. She is a gentle caring female Elf with large green eyes that will melt any man's heart-elf or human. However, under all that gentleness is a well trained stone cold bard that will kill only when necessity and by any means including poison and like her cousin Tidus one doesn't want to cross her or harm her friends and family. Those that did soon learned of their mistake. It is rumored she killed a Orlesian Nobleman for beating and killing a  Elven servant.

If he was a goody two shoes, then there is no way he was a Phoebe.

She was more selfish and arrogant than humanly possible. The Morrigan to your Friends, before her softening in DAI.

Weeee~ this is fun!

I played my Brosca as a sort of... low-key aggressive personality. I think I was channeling Joss Whedon because I kept imagining him as the dwarven lovechild of Angel and Mal Reynolds (lololol). He was blunt and direct but had a good heart and went out of his way to help people, but had a lot of pent-up anger and resentment towards his parents and society. He found peace and purpose in the Grey Wardens, and ended up with Leliana so they became a happy little atoning-for-their-past couple.

Snarky Hawke was snarky Hawke. Pretty much a pre-made personality there, but I loved him. Archetypal Chaotic Good character with perpetual foot-in-mouth syndrome, he's still my precious Failure Hero donut. He ended up with Fenris because somebody needs to keep a leash on those puns.

My Adaar was by far the most diplomatic of them all. I basically played her as an incredibly awkward Huge Schoolgirl who was not at all cut out for life as a merc, and just wanted to have a little garden somewhere with her cute elf wife. Fun fact: my only canon protagonist that still had both her parents by the end of the game! Yay progress? I pictured her as a giant grey Tara Maclay from BtVS more than anything.

My "Canon" lineup.

Tabris: Mostly snarky, with a few diplomatic lines thrown in. (Usually to companions during emotionally hard moments, and people who just lost loved ones.)

Hawke: Don't care, just picked the "good" personality in the Dragon Age Keep.

Lavellan: Mostly diplomatic. She also had "angry" lines during stressful or frustrating moments, especially in the beginning (since she was out of her element, and got stonewalled everywhere she went), with the occasional "funny" comments with companions she'd befriended and felt comfortable around. (She wound up joking with Solas, Varric, Cassandra, and Dorian the most.)

I know! It's fantastic. My Snarky Hawke and my Male Lavellan would either be BFF's (Male Hawke and Male Lavellan) or something more then friends (Female Hawke and Male Lavellan). Lol, my Lavellan... Doesn't deserve words for doing Hawke (if it's a She).
