I stabbed Morrigan in DAO Witch Hunt. She was also my lover.

I've just met Morrigan in DAI. She tells how much she loves the warden and how he has been a great father. Yeah.... It seems as though choosing Morrigan as lover overrides my decision in Which Hunt to gut her with knife.

I'm planning another playthrrough. Do I get a different result with Morrigan not as my lover? Would she mention the warden almost killing her?

Please refrain from any spoilers. Outside of my question.

Nope. That decision is bugged. If you stab Morrigan, she always thinks she was the Warden's lover no matter what.

Ertenion did go with Morrigan through the Eluvian.

Thanks.

It it a known bug? I started playing the game 14 months after release only because I thought most bugs must have been fixed by now.

I'm surprised and disappointed Bioware has not fixed it yet.

Some bugs probably won't be fixed.Dao and da 2 still have rather visible bugs , for example they never fixed encounter with romanced Zevran in da 2.

Wait, let me get this straight. Bioware introduced the Keep to simplify savegame importing and fixing any mistakes around that, and they STILL can't get decisions imported right. They had the same problem with Mass Effect 2, and then the solution was so obvious to me that I'm still baffled they failed to implement it. How does this happen? Is it the pressure from EA that makes them **** up, or do they just need someone who actually has some abstract insight into these things?

They most likely don't care about choice importations; Witch Hunt is the most important DLC of DAO plot-wise and if Bioware has left it untouched for 13 months, that's the indication.

The problem might be with the DA:I plot flag. Data transfer can always be buggy. It's not clear whether the issue is with the keep or DA:I.

And what if the PC doesn't stab Morrigan or if the PC leaves with her?  Bio Ware can't cover every angle because some players has a bad case of bloodlust.. I would say the majority doesn't stab her.
