Just saw this on the options screen. Is this for Multiplayer - played the game a ton and never noticed..

No, they are for the regular game and I think the trials are loads of fun. I have all of them turned on except the Fair Weather Friends trial (I don't want to lose any of my companions by making it too hard to please them). Give them a try.
