Hey everyone, I'm looking to get back into DAMP, haven't played since early this year (I have dragon weapons but stopped shortly thereafter).
I'm wondering if anyone is up to friend and play some, and also if someone could explain exactly the situation with the new items/weapons - I haven't played in a while and I've heard there is a huge gear gap - how exactly do I shoot for the new gear?

Yeah. There is Hakkon weapons that come with 2 unique weapon procs and 100% crit damage, plus upgrade slots. Best of the best.
Then there is lv26 descent weapons that all have very nice weapon procs and lv27 weapons (like elemental weapons or perma-whirwind axe etc).
There is a physical immunity amulet and its effect is pretty self explanatory from its name. A true game changer.
And finally there is the Ultimate - Crescent Shadow (lv27 1h sword) that can only drop have you have a copy of every single lv25 and above items in your inventory. Has 100% crit damage and upgrade slots just like hakkons. It has chance to proc 2 ice projectiles at 1200%. Unblockable, ignore armour, does like 35k per hit.

Hakkon weapons come from Nightmare dragons just like dragon weapons.
But all the weapons can now be obtained from store chests, including dragon weapons, Hakkons and all the other new weapons.
Apparently lv27s have a drop rate of about 1 per 1 million gold spent according to wavebend. Of course it's RNG. Some are much luckier, some aren't so lucky.
I only ever received 1 lv27 from store chests for all the time I've spent playing this game... The more realistic way to get those lv27s is from the victory chests from book rewards. But now the live challenges are over, so I guess you came back too late I guess.
Sad story :/ Just gotta pray to RNGesus I guess.
I'm curious, can I be an effective party member with just the dragon weapons in NM dragon runs? I could run cc/barrier elementalist or something, would that be alright? I'm good at the game, just under-geared.

I'm on PC also~ What I wanna know is,when you play PC's multiplayer,why the f is my character keep on moon walking during battle? It's almost impossible to move forward without jumping all the time! If I don't keep pressing "space",my character just keep on moon walking backward...makes me so f-ing dizzy!

Pretty sure this is due to latency between you and host.
Yes, they never fixed the host issues in this game. In fact, you can even experience latency when you host your own game.
Agree! OMG...I've never been the leader of online battle in this game,I'm so afraid the others gonna think "What is this loser doing moon walking away from the battle he started?".

Or get teleported back the moment they step out of fountain room. But if it's PuG zone 5, people would still have to kick you even if they realised you are in Narnia and it's not your fault.
