Not sure if you are sarcastic or not, but Goth mentioned Kotor as the last game to do it, hence no reason to mention the ones that came before it.
Can you please let us be a bad guy

I'm not talking about renegade either. In mass effect 3, I wanted to be able to sell humanity out to the illusive man.
In ME4 will I be able to sell out humanity and it's evil ways?
Only if I can sell out the aliens as well. Don't need them since humanity is leading the way. Excellent. Humanity #1

As long as we get consequences for it. You try to jeopardize the mission of what the Ark was suppose to do..your companions mutiny put a bullet in the back of your head. That was somewhat of a Problem for me in the OT. Everyone was 100% loyal to Shepard. But it made sense because you were facing Galactic Extinction. To be an evil Bastard in this case wouldn't make sense and if the Protag tries doing something that would screw everyone over, I'd expect retaliation.

I didn't read the following script, I just quoted what I thought was the same adduced excuse not to make good roleplay choices. ![]()

It was the same predictable rant pattern yes.

Season 6 of The Bunz is confusing me.
No bathroom selfies, and there's this weird meta-theme about anarchy and undirected chaos. I get that after five seasons, it makes sense to add layers of complexity, but I'm finding it a bit of an adjustment.
I'll reserve judgment, and give a few more episodes a look.

Question: How does selling out humanity in ME3 work?
I hear it mentioned but what do you Cerberus guys actually want to do here is what id like to know.

I cannot answer for all Cerberus supporters but I can give my own answer.
It's relatively simple, back Cerberus in their aim to seize control of the Reapers. Support the effort as best as you'd be able to, while you are answering to the Council and Alliance, you will in truth be working with the Illusive Man and his aim behind the scenes, and the galaxy will be unaware of this until the curtain drops and the attempt to hijack the Reaper Fleet occurs.

There's always that sense of sad nostalgia when there's a shift away from the original theme. Maybe there'll be a bathroom selfie in the finale, just to assure the older viewers that the core premise hasn't been completely forgotten.

Sorry no more bathroom selfies for a while. Just not trying to pick up hot gamer babes right now.

I wouldn't mind those kinda choices as long as we knew that the evil choices won't be bringing us forward to the next game and they are just there for replay value lol.
But to retrospec on this I do wanna be able to make choices and not feel like I have to make a ME2 on this and go straight down the paragon path. Hated how I felt I needed to be full paragon or full renegade just to get everyone to survive the sucide mission.

Every renegade option always had some "for the greater good" feel to it.
I want to be the bad guy. Go to new galaxy, make enemies, kill and conquer. Also should be able to make love to chosen mate more than just before the final battle. Good for the commander's morale.
I like the last part.

Realistically, it would just result in a shorter game anyway. Going the evil path would cut out a lot of potential allies, and really, I don't see BioWare ever writing a bunch of mutually exclusive companions that only exist for the evil playthrough, let alone stuffing the game with lots of mutually exclusive missions.

Are you all this naïve? If bad guys didn't band together, then how do we have terrorism, war and politicians?

Tell that to these people: http://img12.deviant...ats-d5bykq2.jpg
On topic: I do hope we get some more renegade options like we had in ME1 were we could snap out at people, shoot them on the spot and make insulting comments.

But none of them are video-game evil, in that they don't do it for the purpose of being evil. War and terrorism are political.

KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer were the only games I ever played where I could be the bad guy. Those days are long gone.

Please define this "video game evil" as well as "political". Modern terrorism is actually religious and many wars were/are as well.
To assume what I think your video game evil means, a guy that wants to take over the world or steal the princess, there are more people that would fit under the bad guy description than good, ie; step on everyone to make it to the top, dudes stealing your girl all the time.

If you didn't read my post then why the frak did you comment on it? You are the reason rational and intelligent discourse is dying.
BG was not narratively driven it was encounter driven. You can not watch "BG the movie" on youtube because the game isn't set up to be narratively driven. Which is not to say that BG didn't have a good story, what it is saying is that the game was not "driven" by the narrative rather encounters drive the game forward.
